had mines since launch EXACTLY to the date 2 years ago and still going Strong, flawless and fast, latest up to date Os support and snappy as day one.

    if you don't care about the super wallpapers, i suggest not to upgrade

I... morenot that long maybe 2 years at most. but the good thing is most xiaomi phones especially the flagships have plenty of 3rd party rom support. for example the old mi note 3 was abandoned on android9 but installing LineageOS brings it up to Android10 with frequent security updates.

            Anyone knows how to turn on the ultimate skill indicator (green dot) in Mobile Legends? My unit does not have it whereas other Mi9 phones has it. Ty for response.

                How long does Xiaomi typically supports their phones? I'm planning to buy this or Iphone 8 this week. I'm leaning towards iP8 at the moment cause or software support longevity. any thoughts?

                    I hope Xiaomi will make this kinda smartphone in the future cause honestly this is the best phone they have ever made, thin and very light. Most smartphones they been releasing lately that same price were no headphone jack but didnt support wireless charging and very thick

                        I have it for a year and a half, superb phone. all works the same as the first day.The only thing I changed is the launcher because app drawer.

                            I bought this phone 18.months ago. Still working as the day I bought it. But now I can get Mi 10Pro. at reasonable prize.
                            I dont play games. And think its to early t(for me) to buy 5G. just for the 5G. Its always always nice to have better camera
                            But maybe This year Is not the year to change last year flagship for this years flagship. worthy upgrade? Or do you recommend another brand. which is "better bang for the bucks"

                                This was an excellent phone for the three months I had in operation. Then I went for a walk in some rain and there was a very small amount of moisture contact with the phone through my pocket. The screen was ruined and Xiaomi wouldn't fix under warranty. My previous phones (OnePlus 3 and iPhone 6S) experienced worse water ingress and had no issues at all. So this phone is not at all waterproof unfortunately. Otherwise great, but make sure you keep it very dry.

                                        Hi, i use the phone since april 2019. The speed is still great on today's standards and apps. Opening and runs the apps smoothly and speedy.
                                        Camera specs on paper was good but when you take photos... Too much noise and faces of people not natural in my opinon when you compare with ios devices.
                                        The worse part is battery capasity and lack of sd card storage support. I am not a gamer or not a heavy user. Because of my work i mostly use the emails, whatsapp and browser usage mostly..Battery really not satisfies. Charging twice a day minimum. Despite from that overall great phone.
                                        Hope we get android 11 and more miui updates on upcoming days.
