Good phone but battery a bit too small even for 2019 phone standard. Mi 10 has a huge battery leap, but Mi 9 IMO is reliable enough (also good price value).

    i was the phone of the year, even today you cannot get such flagship with ultra fast Qi and Qc (compatible, not some "Warp" nonsense) in 173grams. Battery was very good, better than all Samsungs and worse than Onepluses who artificially kill apps to get better ranks.
    Nowadays, there are jut fat bricks being sold. Also, i am not looking at Xiaomi offers anymore, as I remember how difficult it was to root it (wait 2 weeks and provide personal details).
    Oneplus 8T Pro without pop up camera and Qi didn't come so there's just Xperia 1.2 as a normal phone (180g).

        It lags even in Hill climb racing game..need restart. Battery ok.

          China set mi 9 flashed to global rom and the battery drained damn fast I don't have idea the reason anyone could help me pls?

            Aside the absence of the 3.5mm jack, this phone is close to complete...just writing from my personal experience with the phone. Big UPS Xiaomi.

              Does mi 9 support face unlock for Canada? Thanks.

                          I've had this phone for a year and a half now (I think) and it's been serving me well. After flashing to xiaomi.eu weekly, this is a very powerful little machine.

                            I had this phone for 6 months and I dropped it on its face and it instantly died, without showing any cracks or anything. Repairments won't work so ended up buying a different phone. Apart from that, yeah, it was very fast and smooth with a very good camera, but the display wasn't bright enough outdoors and I couldn't see anything most of the times

I bought a P30 Pro. I liked more using the MI9. But the P30 Pro battery duration is at least 2 times better then MI9.

                                        After one year using this phone i found that the focus of the camera is getting worse the images become noisy and there's dust particles under my camera lens (all of the back cameras ).
                                        I even compared the photos i took last year to recent ones, last years photos was a lot better.
                                        This phone is actually zero durable for the camera 📸.
                                        Sell yours if you want to avoid getting in trouble with the camera, And go buy one that has IP68 Rating
