Hasin750, 22 Feb 2020What did you do for the Gmail notifications? My older Note ... moreI actually did/tried many things to finally make it work as it should and receive gmail notifications very quick in lock screen. This is what I did in MIUI Global 11.3.4:
1. Settings > Battery & performance > App battery saver > click on three dots > Show system apps > Search gmail > set no restrictions.
2. Apps > Manage apps > Gmail > Notifications > enable the notifications
3. In settings search for: "unrestricted data" > enable for Gmail (I also have enabled this for google services, not sure if it matters)
4. I have enabled sync (Gmail > settings > three dots > manage accounts > Auto-sync data
5. Open gmail > then click the square icon to see your recently opened apps > click and hold on gmail "window" and then click on lock icon. It will lock the app in the background.
6. I have disabled MIUI optimization:
In settings > about phone > click multiple times on MIUI version to unlock the hidden "Developer options" menu.
Then go in settings > Additional settings > Developers options > disable MIUI optimisation.
Also in settings > display > always on display & lock screen > " When the notifications come and the screen is off" > Light up screen.
I think I said it all...

Janika , 21 Feb 2020The Mi 9 lite has an identical camera to The Mi9T Pro, incl... moreAFAIK.. the main camera of Mi 9 Lite is only same as Mi 9T which is Sony IMX 582 while Mi 9T Pro has the same main camera with Mi 9 which is Sony IMX 586. Mi 9 has larger tele and ultra wide cam than Mi 9T Pro.

I'm planning to switch from my OnePlus 6T to this Xiaomi Mi9 lite especially for the wide angle camera. I know that the 6T is more powerful, but my daily usage is basically social, messaging apps e nothing more.
Is it worth the switch? Thank you for your responses. Cheers!

The Mi 9 lite has a selfie camera comparable to flagship phones.

Realme XT or Mi 9 lite when camera is considered? They are sold in same price.
Realme XT has 64MP Samsung GW1 sensor, while Mi 9 Lite has 48 MP Sony IMX 586 camera sensor

They are provided Google dialer and message softwar. I like mi inbuilt dialer and messaging softwar. Hope xiaomi will include with next update.

By the way, my comment below goes for MIUI Global 11.3.4., because I updated immediately after first opening of the phone. Then did a factory reset ( a good habit after major update from MIUI 10 to MIUI 11 )

Excellent phone. Happy with it so far. From comparative videos on youtube, it has a better microphone than 9T or 9T Pro. Also a better camera than 9T or samsung M30s. I just needed to tweak it in settings (for example, for proper functioning of notifications for Gmail etc).

I am using this phone. Out of the box charger is not quick as 18w. It provides like 10w charging service.
