I just bought a second hand mi 9SE, running android 10. 12.0.4 stable miui.
I feel battery drain issue , like even on standby battery percentage is dropping, like 15% in 3-4 hours.
Is it battery issue or can be fixed with Software update ?

I am also a user of Mi 9 SE because I bought it used for 100$, but I won't afford more expensive device. Who is looking for better choice, it exist, but is also pricey. Now we have iPhone SE 2022 as such choice too.

HELP PLEASE!!!
I bought a Mi 9 SE (China ROM) last year and am beginning to regret it because of issues with Google Play. Before the latest Update to MIUI 12.5.4, I used a Google Installer APK to access Google Play. Now, the APK no longer works and I'm trying to find a new easy solution. Any suggestions?

I have this phone for two years know. It's such a great device. I wish Xiaomi or any other brand would produce a worthy successor with the same formfactor. As much as I'd like to update the device because of the SOC which is becoming dated and for getting a higher refresh rate, there are absolutly no oportunities. Zenfone 8 is overpriced and has a bad camera and the S21 is much more expensive and also comes with an Exynos chip in Europe which is a joke imo. So I'll stick with what I've got for the moment.

Anonymous, 29 Aug 2021A good phone indeed, small and light. Using this for almost... moreI experienced this kind of problems recently, phone restarted itself, probably 5 to 6 times in a day.
The I tried to fix the problem by installing custom ROM, long story short, it didn't work.
Then I had a thought about the firmware (my phone became problematic since the newest firmware 12.5.0 update), maybe the firmware is the culprit. I flashed the EU latest firmware AND EU ROM (you will need both) to replace the latest GLOBAL firmware and ROM.
And now the problem is gone.
