An improved bugs free version of Oreo will be available for those who currently under Nougat, it would be 1112MB, just be patient wait for for yours.

Battery life amazing - 6-7 hr SOT (34 hours)
Gaming great - never see lag in all heavy gaming
Temperature superb - Never once heat up.
Best of the Best Phone at such low price range.

Well I am mi a1 user the speaker is loud went I when to my friend house l put my phone in my friend room and the house is 2 story I still can hear my phone ring even when I sit at my friend garage and the room is upstairs. By the way the phone run on Android one but after updating to Android Oreo the camera can zoom 10x and some miui apps can be installed without problem like mi music, mi video, mi browser and mi file manager.

1. Phone has not in built call recording option.
(I dont use this so i cant comment)
2. Phone has not screen shot option like other Mi phones.
(Hold down both your volume down and power button at the same instance, there are also other third party apps available on the Google Playstore that allows you to capture screenshots using your fingerprint reader)
3. Phone has not any gallery.
(Its called Google Photos, with an unlimited online storage space)
4. This phone is not able to search dial history in call log, in the word if you have dial a number and next time you are going to dial this one phone is not searching the same.
(I checked mine and there is, on the second tab, which is the icon with the clock display)
5. Many more problems also in there
(I do not game on the Mia1, so i dont really see any performance issues. So far, i have been using it to watch videos and Google simultaneously and the phone is performing above average with very good battery life)
The Mia1 is a very good phone at a very good pricing. If you can adapt to the phone, you will definitely improve your user experience 😁

Dear All,
MI A1 Operating systems is very bad, I have already purchased this one and I want to aware all of you that in this phone lot of problem in operating.
1. Phone has not in built call recording option.
2. Phone has not screen shot option like other Mi phones.
3. Phone has not any gallery.
4. This phone is not able to search dial history in call log, in the word if you have dial a number and next time you are going to dial this one phone is not searching the same.
5. Many more problems also in there.

Running Oreo with December Security Patch for couple of weeks now on my wifes phone.
She`s getting vary good battery time, recharges her phone once in almost 3 days. I`m Impressed. She`s not a heavy user, but my kid is watching youtube and plating some games for an hour or so. GJ Xiaomi and GooGle
