Now the battery can only last 1 day instead of 1.5 days.

AnonD-493176, 02 Jan 2018Yes the battery draining is experience by most of us actual... moreMeaning there use to be a cache cleaning function, you can clear all the cache at one touch, but there remove the function in Oreo update, now you need to clear the cache in individual apps which is troublesome.

For me I don't care as it's useless in my country, most of the shop doesn't accept local mobile pay, there only for meant for China tourist.

The Mi A1 is still currently my number one phone to replace my current ones. A close second is the Moto G5 Plus and the OnePlus 3T.
The concerns I have for the Mi A1 is the camera having no (any kind of ) image stabilization, a rather "cooler" tone on the cameras, no water resistance (a quick drop in the sink or using in light rain might "void" the warranty ad returning it will be a bit of a hassle) and software updates.
Comments and advice please?

After Oreo update , it will work smoothly but only one problem I found picture and picture mode is not working, It will work only VLC player , youtube and Chrome these application are not working in picture and picture mode.

Facing problem with jio. even if signal bar is full I can't call, it says mobile network not available. Also phone doesn't connect to internet. I have to restart the mobile or deactivate my Jio SIM from Sim setting and then activate my sim . This solves the problem temporarily but then again after some time problem appears. When this problem appears instead of Jio 4G it shows card 1. anyone facing the same issue?

AnonD-499674, 01 Jan 2018after the Oreo update, the battery usage is horrible.. 😔I got same problem as well so I searched for solutions in the web and I found that doing a factory actually fixed it. Just make sure to back up your things before doing it.

I got update twice but as soon as i came home to download it with my wifi they just vanished. Did this happen with anyone else too? And still i haven't got the update.

Guys, are there other better xiaomi phones than mi a1 on same price range? Im planning to change my note 3. Not too familiar with other models like 4, 4x, 4a, 4plus, 5a, etc. Lol. Thanks!
