                  reducing brightness at night will never give you 3-4 hours of SOT after 4 years of usage (battery degreade after a certain period of time) i think you have changed the battery or any special secret???

                      The battery seems a bit small for a 5.5 Xiaomi , they are not the best at optimizing power consumption : P

                        Mi A1 seems like reboot of Nexus line.
                        With pure Android and affordable price tag, it surely a promising gadget.
                        In past, I was hoping that Xiaomi should make a Nexus. And it seems that Google did team up with xiaomi to provide with an experience of Nexus and pure Android, maybe under a different name.

                        I am definitely looking forward to buy this one.

                                my friend has motorola moto g (1st gen) and only get sot less than 2 hours. Sot increases when he using CM 12 rom, in CM 12 he gets SOT maximum of 2-3hours (depending on signal condition)

                                Motorola moto G (1st gen) has li-ion type battery, the power of li-ion battery starts to decrease when recharge more than 100x, let's just assume your charger at least once a day. in 4 years you have recharge approximately 1460 times. In that conditions the performance of the li-ion battery will decrease by more than half.

                                      And most batteries degrade much faster too.
