so im thinking to retire my iphone 5S and look for a new phone,and from many brands and types the one who got my interest is Xiaomi,especially this Mi A1 and Mi 5X which is a twins,i personally don't mind for MIUI which is at first i was interested for Mi 5X,but after seeing some hands on in youtube and seeing the phone with pure Android i'm now interested for the A1,which is a dillema for me
which one should i take ? the Mi 5X or the Mi A1

Can someone confirm will Xiaomi Mi A1 get project Treble when it was updated to Android 8.0 ? I heard Project Treble is optional unless Android 8.0 is build into the phone from day 1 rather then upgrade from older Android version.

reducing brightness at night will never give you 3-4 hours of SOT after 4 years of usage (battery degreade after a certain period of time) i think you have changed the battery or any special secret???

Mi A1 seems like reboot of Nexus line.
With pure Android and affordable price tag, it surely a promising gadget.
In past, I was hoping that Xiaomi should make a Nexus. And it seems that Google did team up with xiaomi to provide with an experience of Nexus and pure Android, maybe under a different name.
I am definitely looking forward to buy this one.
