More issue,

Automatically add weather on to home screen despite I don't need it.

Hang twice, end up need to reboot the phone, I merely uses 27% of internal memory & only basic apps been installed.

Phone keeps recommend some useless apps.

    My Mi A1 can't recive Pie update.I did a master reset and will not work anymore.Please help me!

      I got the update yesterday in Serbia. My biggest issue is that I have no 4g now. Sound confuses me as well, since I used do not disturb to completely stop all sounds, but now it doesn't work that way. If 4g issue is not resolved I will be very dissapointed.

Some of us just want the monthly security updates and not the buggy and confusing Android miniscule updates.

                        MiA1 Owners are Jumping, like children, with joy, with the gift of Android 9Pie from Santa-Xiaomi. I'm NOT going to upgrade! Not tempted by the promise of "10-birds-in-the-bush" as against My Trusted 8.1.0 in hand.
                        I have spent Many hours fine-tuning my phone, and ALL will be WIPED OUT in a second, AND I have to relearn everything including the UI. WHO WILL PAY FOR THE LOSS AND THE COST OF RELEARNING?
                        Never before, such a Drastic change had been imposed on the users! Microsoft UTTERLY FAILED when it replaced Windows 7 - AND now the Windows 10 is forced to have continuity with 7. WISDOM COMES VERY LATE AND AT A GREAT COST! Android will learn soon.
                        And THIS Android and the next, is going to be SCRAPPED and replaced by FUC?HSIA.
                        Relearn again!!
                        To me, half-wit, immature, over smart, know-all Boys/Girls, who sit too long on their Brains, are deciding how WE should live/lead our lives in the future.
                        Here is a Challenge to all children jumping with joy over Android9 Gift:
                        1. List 10 things YOU will be able to do with Android9 which You can't do with Android8.1.0!
                        2. You can't live with 8.1.0 (Old GF/BF), and must have new GF/BF 9.0.
                        3. You Love the Single Home Button (multi-multi-function)?? Happy to rid of back+recent buttons? Then try this! From tomorrow, DRIVE YOUR CAR with ONE HAND only, tie the other hand behind! Highly multi-functional one-hand driving!

                        ONLY THE BIGGEST FOOLS WILL DESIGN THE FUTURE LIKE THIS.

But who decides that we need Duo and Files, when we already have Caller app and another Files. I mean it could be better if they let only bare minimum installed like it was on 8.1 Android without DUO and then let download anything else Google optionally from Settings or Store with option to delete afterwords.

                            After a day of use, battery seems to be fine, but in my opinion automatical brightness is still as bad as it was on previous OS. Mostly too bright and can lead to battery loss fast. You better disable it and set it to 25 per cent manually. The originsl launcher improved, but I still use Nova Launcher, mainly because I paid for it previously. This new original launcher is usable.

                            Previous was bad and laughable. FM Radio for me is useless as I never use it, but as an app, it is acceptable to have. At least more acceptable than having DUO disabled. Another thing with this update, it adds some services like Digital wellbeing as an app from store. Why? Should it be already in Android, now it just adds few useless apps to your Play Store app list.

                            They could do it better... Another is Device Health Services. Other than that it is okay. But these two apps should be inside the core - just like data counter etc. You should never be forced to download these basic core apps from store. Just clutters the app list in the Store.

                                  I got new Pie update (82.1mb), brings back the fingerprint swipe, improved battery life. But hardware keys still lights up when using the swipe up Home gesture. Overall the phone has become more fluid

                                      Battery draining faster than Oreo 8.1
                                      Screen become darker, need to set to higher brightness.
                                      No improvement for camera, still get bad low light photo.
                                      No VoLTE

                                      Only good thing is FM Radio Widget which we been asking for since launch.
