The google bar at the bottom is very annoying, moving clock to left side a bad idea since Mia1 doesn't have a notch, File & Google Duo is a waste of space & it can't be delete, I can only disable it, What ise purpose of Android One programme when I can't delete bloatware ? Good things is swipe print sensor to bring down the notification panel is back & finally FM radio widget.

Android One is no more Android One. Why?
They again preinstalled more of apps you can not get rid of. Only Uninstall. I alrwady had no need for Google Duo and disabled it. I get my calls from Caller app and messages from Messages app. I don't need Whatsapp, Hangouts, Duo, Allo, Signal or Facetime. I just communicate using my mobile provider or Gmail app. Every update seem to add.
Now they installed Google Lens. Okay, it may be good, but it was unable to detect common earphones or mountain bike? So I scanned a bar code from product - it was able to show me the numbers on it. So, why, I can look the same numbers on my own. Next. Files Go. Installs two icons, and yes, there is already Files app that is barely enough for Google?
So what's Android One? I think Google should redefine it.
I mean the phone is good, but it's no more Android One phone with this amount of bloatware you can not get rid of. Why, Google. Why. Minimalistic phone turned into advertisement for Google every new apps like Files Go, Google Lens, Digital Wellbeing. Not what I bought.

Battery is fixed works like a charm 2 days at full usage thats the bigest improvement! Only problem is that if i can call it a problem is showing wether on at glance sometimes work and sometimes don't and you can't do anything about it! 4g signal finaly got fixed. Happy with the update

Amazing how many phones are coming out with Android pie but Xiaomi is struggling with Android 9 on Android one bugs for mi a1. Probably started working with Android pie for Android one on this phone very late or it has low priority over the newer models of phones.

Moazzam Ali, 21 Dec 2018I have not yet received android pie Android Pie update been pull back due to serious bugs issue reported by initial batch user.
Just patiently wait for them to solve the issues & release the update, this might take a long time though, hopefully by end of the year or early next year.
