Beware of Xiaomi Service Centre.
I went there to get the Volume up button rectified as excessive pressure has to be applied on the volume up button to raise volume.
But to my dismay , service center refused to do the same under my valid warranty.
They refused by citing a small 1 (one) millimeter scratch on the top R.H.S. corner edge of the top glass , away from display area.
Still wondering what that has to do with Volume Controls. How the warranty is Void ... ??

In my mia1 i find the Google play services drain my internet about one gigabyte In day can you check it in your mi a1 thanks for any help

Anonymous, 20 Sep 2018my phone hasnt done any of those things ever :x sorry.Apparently a lot of MiA1 owner in my country have the same issue, i can see them complaining same issue as my, in particularly Slow GPS & Weak Signal, mind you we live in the capital city where signal is the strongest.
i encounter 3 auto reboot after August patch, no apps running & the phone just switch off by itself & turn back on.

Till now, I never actually got any major problem other than RAM management seems not well performed as it will start to kill any using apps in the background when multitasking. I just have to restart my phone every few days which doesn't take long to reboot.

mi a1 user, 16 Sep 2018I suggest to u all never update your mi a1 until android p ... moreAgree on this, Nougat 7.1.2 was the best, since Oreo 8.0 update the problem is like endless, Oreo 8.1 slightly better but still the stability still far from Nougat, especially on the GPS locking speed.

Hey guys, is anyone having an issue with the Bluetooth? it's not pairing to my Hesh 3 wireless by Skull Candy. I just got the phone today, and i'm just wondering is it the new update patch that happened in August?

GT, 17 Sep 2018Looks like you install tonns of crap apps without having ne... moreI installed very little apps in my phone, I don't even install Facebook & Insta in my MiA1, i have only use up 25GB of the 64GB ROM including system apps, there only 1 game in my phone which is Pokemon Go.
Yet I experienced lot of issue with this phone.

This is definitely not software problem or updates, it is a power button issue and need to be replaced.
Even you disabled camera shortcut gesture, you will experience the screen on and off as it is registered 2 click when you actually clicked once.
I can see so many people experience this, it must be a design problem of buttons of Mi A1. Replace it within warranty period or the button will eventually break overtime.

Only few things I ensure is - use apps from trusted sources and load only required apps ( avoid unwanted/ unnecessary apps just coz it's free)
My system runs smooth and problem free.

I suggest to u all never update your mi a1 until android p release if have a lot of bugs,i m still use this phone on android 7.1.2 since november 2017..never had any problem yet..just wait for stable version,hope this help :)

Quick double click launches camera app.
