With this worst update of 8.1 all my SMS messages got wiped out.
Nonsense XIAOMI.
Please do not update your Mi A1 mobile to 8.1

Oreo 8.0 take 4 months to get rid of bugs, i hope Oreo 8 1 can solve it faster.
Totally disappointed with Xiaomi.

GT, 29 Jun 2018June update 1157.5 MB now seeding.Everything is working fine. No bugs in 8.1, no sms wipeout.
Noticable improvement in battery life.

One thing can't understand, if Mi A is said to android one phone, these kind of buggy update should not be released. It's a matter of trust on Android one devices introduced by Google.

Useless and worst update. Got my all sms and Jio network is not working. Only Airtel is working in either of sim slot.
This is my third Mi phone, this is the final one and never ever will going to buy any Mi phone.

After updating to 8.1 I can no longer use dual sim. Only one sim is working at a time.

Will wait a week or 2 before updating it to Oreo 8.1, had my lesson during Oreo 8.0 update, it been hell for 4 months, as tons of bugs come with the update.

Guys plz be careful while updating 8.1 update, all old SMS have been wiped out automatically, plz take good back up of old SMS before installing 8.1 update , you have been warned :(
