Anonymous, 26 Jun 2018I think he mean 8 months, which make sense Oct 2017 till Ju... moreOften i need to on my Waze outside my car to lock to GPS then only i secured my phone to the holder at my windscreen, if i on Waze inside my car it will take 5 minutes for the GPS to lock to current coordination.
I have no issue with Samsung phone which i also carry daily, so it shouldn't be the window tinting issue.
This happend since 31st Dec 2017 Oreo update.

Oreo 8.0.0 brings many issue, GPS locking was lightning fast in Nougat, Then i went turtle slow in Oreo, after few updates in 6 months, the GPs still slower than when it's on Nougat.

I guess the frustration is too much especially on the update progress (too slow for an android one labelled phone) and that newer updates bring more issues than fixes

But this issue he mentioned is valid though as I too has Weak Signal especially when using Waze inside my car, the back camera is hopeless in low light condition, update is quite slow compare to Nokia.

Is it almost 18 months since this phones launch, that means no more updates and as it already had a major is update from Android 7 to Android 8, and there will also be no more os major updates to 8.1 or 9, quite disappointing this phone overall, oh and project treble on this phone may never be implemented.

Seems true... ..as I am still wondering how come a shop store is having a stock of 6-7 boxes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro when this is in scarcity on Mi.com store or on Flipkart.
And is selling at the standard rates ....how come ??
