Seems true... ..as I am still wondering how come a shop store is having a stock of 6-7 boxes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro when this is in scarcity on Mi.com store or on Flipkart.
And is selling at the standard rates ....how come ??

Why are you so paranoid on negative comments on MiA1 ? not that with good comment only your phone able to fetch a profit when you sell it in future..lol
Those comments are quite true, weak signal, weak GPS, bad low light photos from back camera, lack of widget to activate FM Radio, Xiaomi should work on this issue if there intend to captures bigger market.
NlOld Nokia management is ignoring complaints from tththeir customer, there end up from Best Seller to closed down for good, luckily the revived Nokia HMD is taking an open approach by making what customer wants.

Beware that there are fake Mi A1 in the market. I have never heard of 3/32GB Mi A1 but this is what you will find in some of the stores. People are bringing fake product by branding them Xiaomi because Xiaomi has made name in the telephony sector. So please mind what you buy, also make research as to know the feature of the phone before buying any phone.

Newbie user, 22 Jun 2018I buy this device original set yesterday and i got patch s... moreThere is no Oreo 8.1 update for MiA1 as at now, current firmware are based on Oreo 8.0 (which is jokes for Android One phone, Even Nokia has Oreo 8.1 update).
Just keep your phone in Nougat as long as you can, Since Oreo update on 31st December 2017, there is no stable update, each update solve 1 issue & bring along a few new issues, i think I have received 8 updates since Oreo update, yet the phone perform worse than when it's on Nougat.
Xiaomi definitely made blunder with MiA1, I can forsee Xiaomi will abandoned MiA1 quietly when MiA2 & MiA2 lite goes into the market next month, just like how there quietly abandoned Mi4i which is another one of Xiaomi failed project.

I buy this device original set yesterday and i got patch security update december notifications pop up at my status bar...i saw so many complain after android oreo 8.1...i m just stay in nouget 7.1.2 good for gaming,browsing and other social apps..i m feel lot an happy for playing games in this mi a1 i m just waiting for stable update coming soon:)

Bwoah, 22 Jun 2018Haters are gonna hate no matter what I have this phone for... moreWhen one or few complain you mark them as haters, but when many complain all over the world, there is serious issue, I bought this phone October 2017, it has been 8 months, initially the phone work fine with Nougat, ever since Oreo update it bring many issues.
Weak signal, Slow GPS, apps auto shut down, random reboot.
The main camera almost useless in low light condition, photo are grain & noisy, I wonder why Xiaomi actually put in a FM Radio when there is no widget to activate it.
The update is also slow compare to Nokia, which make me wonder how on Earth it considered as Android One phone.

MiA1 is crappy & full of problems, the network is weak & the GPS is inaccurate, Camera are disaster, many apps crash, (yes normal apps like Whatsapps, Opera Mini, WeChat,)
Each update bring new problem to the phone

I'm a disappointed, phone with annoying little bugs. I expect more from android one. Otherwise cheap phone for only 125€ in ali :)

Download the correct 7.1.2 or 8.0.0 Rom and follow other instructions from there. No root required.

Downgraded the phone to Android 7.1.2, disabled system updates and happily now enjoying using it without having to worry about the bugs introduced by recent updates, especially the 2nd May 'Security' update. Good battery, Great audio! Having the latest update is not always the best
