HI I have a quick question. Xiaomi has global specification, but do they sell chargers adapted as well with the new models? I need it for Latin american sockets. Anybody can help me?Thanks in advance

stickerlicker, 21 May 2018Some advice, generally when using a phone, should be indoor... morei live in a Hot country, outdoor temperature is min 27°C & Max 41°C, even i would to use it under shade the averages temperature us around 33°C, the phone still heat up even i use it in air conditioned car like 25°C even my office with 21°C though not as bad as using it in outdoor.
i have another Samsung phone which hardly heat up as bad as MIA1.
if Xiaomi intend to sell there phone to hot country like my there should have do some R&D to solve the heating issue, not everyone live in North Pole you know.

Do not clasp hands around the phone as this will cause the heat to be kept in the phone. This will keep the phone cool and never overheat.

It doesn't matter - android P will support different types of phones so for this one, you can navigate either with buttons or with gestures...

Bwoah, 18 May 2018I have this phone for 6 months already and I didn't have an... moreSent back to service centre once, as the phone keep losing signal, swap the sim card to another phone no issue, put back to MiA1 no signal or keep losing signal, technician says no issue with the phone ask me wait for firmware update, after few update same issue call will break off, phone totally zero bar, then back to 2 bar again back to zero bar, feed up with this phone, will hunt for another brand, no more Xiaomi despite the price is cheap.
Will look for Nokia 6 2018 or Oppo F5, maybe even Nokia 7 plus or Oppo F7.

They can cause the... moreits true this phone heat up easily, just a 10 minutes call this phone heat up to 44°C, if use for GPS like Waze the temperature bacome extremely hot like 48°C, even a short while playing Pokemon Go the phone heat up badly.
Battery life also very bad, Fully charged till 100% & unplug at 6am by noon only 40% battery left & by 5pm balance 5%, need to charge twice a day, this is only for minimum usage, as this is my 2nd phone.
i only download minimum apps, i don't even install Facebook, Instagram, Less than 30 minutes voice call, Some whatsapps, 30 minutes Waze, no gaming, no taking photo or video, surf net maybe 20 minutes.
Phone alway loss signal, 4G is weak & GPS is weak.

Check the free apps you have downloaded. They can cause the phone
to be overheating. My Mi A1 doe's not have that problem. It is always cool.
I turned it on at 6:00 this morning after charging it last night.
Now at 4:27 PM, the battery percentage is 84%.

I have been using Mi A1 for ~6 months. More problems coming up:
1) GPS can't be turned off sometimes. Need to repeatedly turn it on & off until it properly off.
2) Loudspeaker is pretty bad. My samsung s3 mini (bought 5 years ago) was better.
3) Hang while playing game (candy crush).
Other than this, everything is quite okay. You get what you pay. Don't expect more for budget phone. Look forward on how long this phone can last.

Using the device for a month. There is some cons but phone is awesome overall.
Cons :
-No wireless charger
-Grainy photos if there isn't enough light
Pros:
-7 hours Screen On Time
-Good performance on games
-Pretty loud speakers
-Fingerprint scanner works pretty accurate and fast
-Screen is bright enough to use on direct sunlight
-Pure android makes everything faster
-And so much great things which I can't write

My mobile Redmi note 4 this phone is repaired 3 times from bought (22/10/2017) my mobile. Every repair mother board had changed and probably not respond with customers. behave badly.
