Xiaomi Mi A1 (Mi 5X)

I have been using MI A1 for about 3 months now and after a healthy usage of the device I an posting this review. First positive thing is that MI A1 is a value for money phone and you would hardly find any other phone with these much specs in this price range. Now lets move towards the pros and cons of it in detail
Pros:-
1.Being an Android one phone it has a lot of Google phone features and that is a real gem
2. The dual rear camera is a quality one with bokeh mode as well as potrait mode.
3 The performance is very impressive because the phone doesn't seem to work slowly even with heavy gaming and multiple tasks
4.Fingerprint is real quick .
Cons:-
1.The 3080/3000 mah battery seems to be below par in this range with 4000 mah being the trend these days
2. Low light performance of the camera isn't that great
3.Screen resolution of 1080*1920 is bit let down and also the ratio 18:9 isn't fun
4.Device tends to heat up at times
Further the power button and volume keys being too close also create a problem more often than not, hangs up sometimes, and battery is a big let down but overall performance and the day light camera performance as well as the video capture and play are very good plus the striking looks as well.This phone is a go to phone un this range and the being an Android one phone it is a boon to have.

stanic, 11 Mar 2018the specs are good.... but i doubt about the battery capaci... moreOnline driver please stay away from this phone, as it's GPS doesn't work very well, often loss of GPS signals.

Got replacement (Global version) yesterday Everything working fine now fast and perfect phone Recommended . .

the specs are good.... but i doubt about the battery capacity... as an online driver... i need a larger battery capacity...
Redmi 5 plus has a larger battery capacity... but.... i doubt about the specs a little bit... and redmi 5 plus is so hard to get

Proximity sensor issue still exists with oreo rom. Xiaomi please please fix it otherwise this phone is not useful at all

This is the worst product mi has made as compared to mi note 4. A genuine advise to all of u not buy this phone as even after Oreo update it lags most of the basic features. It hangs and most of it's inbuilt app like contacts, call log etc behave peculiar.

There is no availability of mi a1 in india for the past two months,even in flipkart and offline stores,whether they stopped the production of the mi a1...Any body got the answer,some say to increase the sale of redmi note series they have paused the production of mi a1...It may come later...whether its good to buy a 6 months old phone...

arrived 2 days ago, wonderful device (i had a note4x)
after 2 days: better than before (note4x)
- ready out of the box
- everything works perfectly (i still have to try the camera well, though)
while considering the note4x a marvelous device, this is better
my considerations always refer to the price range !!!

You know, I am not a heavy user, like I said, I just need good phone that is around 200 euros, which works nicely without big lags or something like that. Good camera is, let's say, important to me and I know that I can not expect great camera from a mid range phone and that would be all. That's way I'm so into Mi A1 because I expect that pure android and google would provide fluency (the most important thing for me).

Overall I'll suggest A1 cause it would not any compatibility issues in near future considering the update promises
