This phone had become the ultimate competitor if it had the 3.5 mm Jack and 4000 mAh battery. Moreover it has the same LTPS display like the previous mi A1.

I the batter was as big 4000mAh like I would say this phone is the best in its category. Great phone very good price small battery. I love Xiomi for 3 main things Best in value for money phones, Best battery and always adding IR blaster and FM.

A2 is gonna be the Android One version and the 6X is gonna be the one with MIUI, all you need to do is just find the 6X then you´re good to go.

If it comes under android one programme, i hope 3010 Mah battery would last all day. And SD 660 should be power efficient.

The specs are fire🔥 . Colours are good , now more colours . But the camera , the camera is using a very good swnsor with a good (f/.) But i dont like the vertical camera placement . In my opinion they should've used the same look as the zenfone and huawei p20 lite camera placement , not like the iphone x . I think the camera looks shit

If it's launched with Android One or has the upgrade option like X5 had...it's an INSTANT BUY.
I miss NFC, splash resistant, larger battery (partly solved with Quick Charge 3.0) and would prefer x2 optical zoom before this "bokeh" camera effect.
I was looking for a Moto G5S Plus on some sale, but if the OS and Release date is on April...A2/X6 will be my way to go.

i hope that need more capacity battery for 5.99 inch display .at least 3500 mah
and add OIS real Camera for better and sharper photo.

As a previous Samsung user I had issues with their battery not lasting enough for me. I went with Lenovo on my last phone. Cheaper less cpu power but 5100mAh was so great that I can't wait to get another but seems P2 line died with it. I would love to get mi a2 if they increase battery to at least 4000mAh.

But : Camera of this and Zenfone wouldn't be comparable,Android One = fast and sure updates without bloatware... Pure android also means less baterry consumption... Bluetooth 5.0 on Mi vs 4.2 on Zenfone... IR on Mi... Zenfone change front camera depends of RAM? 8MP for 3/4GB models VS 16MP for 6GB...Also Zenfone comes up to 64GB of internal vs 128GB on Mi... And as i said mAh means better battery but ONLY with same SOFTWARE... Look at the LGV30 3300 mAh and outstanding result... Than look at the Redmi PRO with 4050 mAh with battery drains issued by the software and with 0.5 inch less screen...

The audio quality.. Mia1/mi5x really nailed that section tho.. And most people love hearing music but couldn't afford a high end phones which usually the best experience in that section.. I kinda guess this a2 gonna be the same.. Theres a special hybrid adater available online where you can use earphone and charge at the same time.. Makes me wanna upgrade from my current mia1

If this hardware is launched under Android One program in India (which is almost for sure), this is a really nice deal. With MiUi future updates (Android P and above) are not promised but under Android One they are. I don't see any competition for this device in India!

I thought I would consider it over Nokia 7 Plus but when I came to know that it is not having headphone jack nor big battery I have now changed my decision.
