If XIAOMI goes with this model on worldwide with Android One then Nokia 7 Plus will be sidelined. Specs are same and look at the price difference.

This is battery life test done by GSMArena on 4 Snapdragon 660 device.
1. Oppo R11, Battery Li-Po 3000mAh : Endurance 81 hour, 3G Talk time 18:48 hour, Web Browsing 11.38 hour, Video Playback 14:48 hour
2. Oppo R11s, Battery Li-Po 3200mAh : Endurance 77 hour, 3G Talk time 19:35 hour, Web Browsing 10:02 Hour, Video Playback 15:09 hour
3. Oppo R15 Pro, Battery Li-Po 3400mAh : Endurance 86 hour, 3G Talk Time 24:18 hour, Web Browsing 10:13 Hour, Video Playback 13:24 Hour
4. Nokia 7 Plus, Battery Li-Ion 3800mAh : Endurance 87 hour, 3g Talk Time 21:36 hour, Web Browsing 11.04 hour, video Playback 11:42 hour.

Great phone for $250. The battery is 3010mAh not 2900mAh. This is definitely the budget phone king for 2018. Lovely piece of work by Xiaomi

Too thin and too small battery for 6 inch screen, also very tall 158cm too huge.. there are phones oppo f7 6.23inch but 155 tall, bad xiaomi bad

Mi didn't go with there. 12 MP 1.40 pixels size sensor. That they given in mi MIXs2 and redimi note 5 china. They used old 12 MP 1.25 pixel size sensor. Big pixel size better low light. Picture quality will not be much better. Lets see how it will launch in india. It doesn't have memory sd card slot.

Anyway, I am afraid that 3010 does not provide enough juice for a full day use

Pathetic battery. Some say it will be OK with SD660. I'll believe it when I see the battery life tests. Otherwise, no buy. I would go for the Redmi Note Pro instead.

I can already tell that the international version (A2) won't be released so soon. Otherwise, the Redmi Note 5 Pro will quickly become obsolete and the stocks will gather dust in warehouses. Personally, I was looking forward more to the next phone with the Surge S2 SoC (Mi6c or Mi7c) and hoping for it to be as compact as its predecessor but that will probably have a notch just like the rumored Mi7 so this Mi A2 is so high up in my list. The only phone that comes close to this on the bang-for-the-buck meter would be the Nubia Z18 mini but that is very unlikely to ever be released internationally, or at least in my region. The Meizu 15 could have been a great option if only Meizu quits being delusional, charging like it's a premium brand. Looking forward to own a Mi A2 after 3 mos.

C... moreMi A2 cost 1599 yuan which converts to around 16000 rupees... whereas Nokia 7 plus costs a whopping 26000 so that's a difference of 10k rupees... so there is literally no comparison between this two phones... also mi a2 will be the real value for money phone... and considering that it will be android one, you will easily get 1 day battery life... but if u are fine with increasing your budget 10k then go for 7 plus
