To be honest, my father uses A2 lite and I have Galaxy A9 2018 currently. But yeah, he did not get the phone through carrier, but he's also on A1 here in Croatia.

I also get freeze, have you factory reset after you've upgraded?

Luckily my schoolmate did not have his phone bricked and it's all fine, but overall there isn't anything wow about Android 10. Not a lot of features aside from proper dark mode implementation.
If you ask me, Xiaomi is a hit or miss. You always gotta be careful when updating stock android versions. The same issue presisted with the old Nexus devices as well. It might even be google's fault here.
But yeah, if you ask me I prefer OneUI over everything else. There's just so many customization, proper dark mode since Android 9, and I've even had dark mode since the days when i used my old J7 2016 (through the themes app). Plus with Good Lock you get many customization options on top of OneUI's already great. But yeah, personal opinion on different things. For me Stock Android is boring, and in this case with updates you should always wait till you hear from others if it's safe to upgrade.
This device is fine tho, for the price my schoolmate bought it (7,000 MKD Denars) through a tarrif in his Provider A1 (formerly VIP).

After update to Android 10, I can't turn off Camera Sounds. Sometime my screen phone freezes. Can't Clear data cache via Google Files.

Is it true that Android 10 update has major problems and it even bricked some phones in some cases? I saw that somewhere, and I also red that Xiaomi will not send out update in more regions until they fix it. So yeah... I still did not get it, but I was wondering is it so bad?

I have Android 10 on the a2lite. Today 3/9/20
I had to restart several times (after updating) the reason: the phone did not answer. After approximately 30 minutes the phone answered and then runs smoothly. In this update they removed the equalizer that the phone brought, they also eliminated the option of preselection of auricle of some brand in the sound option. A bad experience at the end of the update, they removed software aggregates (equalizer and hearing aid option) device personalization services has a direct access to the desktop (launcher) and there will be no. The phone in this update came with an application called "caping" is strange .. because that application is not from Xiaomi. (It can be uninstalled for our luck) when entering the phone configuration it tells you: "customize your pixel" when the device is a Xiaomi .. in short .. several observations, but in execution the device works well with this update. ( It is the minimum expected) to be honest Xiaomi has observations or criticisms with its android one updates and this is no exception.
appalling. I come from a motorcycle x 2013 and I never had an update problem (being just like this one, pure android)

Android 10 landed today 9/03/20 in the a2lite (South America)
After waiting months, the update arrived. probably the last team to acquire from xiaomi due to the lack of seriousness.

Anyone having problem with voice echo on this one? My father has this phone and every time anyone else or me speaks with him this problem occours, we can hear our voice again after we say something. Any help would be appreciated!

RAM Management is pretty poor now on my mi a2 lite, apps close all the time in background .... Still love this phone tho, even without android 10 ....
