But if you only need for 2/3 years, the Mi A2 lite is said to get updates and security patches for that long, so I'd recommend it over the iPhone

this is a great smartphone it was fast and have a great look and fantastic screen notch with a good screen resolution and color the only issue is front cam it`s not a good enough also image size is a too big

Just wanted to say I've been using this phone for a day, and my first impressions are really good.
I specifically got this phone for its dual sim and micro SD card slot and it works like a treat!
Although my opinion might change, the way I feel about the Mi A2 lite is quite simple: it won't do anything amazingly well (other than battery life which is incredible). Performance on stock android is good. Design is good. Connection is good. Camera is good. If you're looking for something with some outstanding feature (other than battery life, which most budget phones have hence why I'm not really including it), you've come looking for the wrong device.
However, if you want a device that just doesn't seem to have any obvious and noticeable flaws, then you're looking squarely at the Mi A2 lite. And that's my kind of device. Big thumbs up from me.
