Just wanted to say I've been using this phone for a day, and my first impressions are really good.
I specifically got this phone for its dual sim and micro SD card slot and it works like a treat!
Although my opinion might change, the way I feel about the Mi A2 lite is quite simple: it won't do anything amazingly well (other than battery life which is incredible). Performance on stock android is good. Design is good. Connection is good. Camera is good. If you're looking for something with some outstanding feature (other than battery life, which most budget phones have hence why I'm not really including it), you've come looking for the wrong device.
However, if you want a device that just doesn't seem to have any obvious and noticeable flaws, then you're looking squarely at the Mi A2 lite. And that's my kind of device. Big thumbs up from me.

Oh god..I really really satisfied with this phone..No complains at all..Great battery life with humungous 4000mph battery (as an average user, more than 2 1/2 days) Great high resolution display..Great Sound Quality..IR blaster remote control..and also very very stylish metal body..Ultra fast Android one experience..Oh Wow..I got a right decision to buy this..despite of having older SDM 625 chip this device performs quite impressively.. Best in the class performance..stay away from crappy Samsung handsets..As a long term Samsung user I highly recommend Xiaomi..I give 5 star

Mi 6 pro does not support dual volte. Worst to buy this phone for +10k.

hi i bought my new mi a2 lite 4/64GB three days back. before this shit phone i was using redmi note 5 plus which was snatched by thief on my way to home. but i was really happy with note 5 plus. but i deliberately misguided by shopkeeper for Mi A2 lite. so far i am totally unsatisfied with this new phone. Reasons are following.
1) its has no option neither automatically adjusting brightness on screen
2) No three fingers screenshot option.
3) No voice recording app.
4) No call recording option.
i personally advise you that don't be cheated to buy miA2 lite.

Mi A2 Lite using Google based Pure Google's Android. While Redmi Note 5 using MIUI, Xiaomi customized Android.

General question ple... moreyou cant turn your redmi 6 pro into mi a2 lite vice versa, while it use the same hardware I think it used different partition so xiaomi need to tune their miui for mi a2 lite for it to work. I dont think they will waste energy to do that, your best bet is just to barter/exchange with someone.

Best bet is to go for Redmi 6 pro if you want MIUI
