A2 Lite is the best, 25 Sep 2018Nokia (HMD) went wrong in 2018, for 3.1, 5.1, 5.1 Plus.. P6... moreMi products are the biggest joke to mankind. Using the redmi note 5 and its issues are battery life, build wuality (that screen) and the ugly brand. Like who uses these unbranded products. Their is no quality testing fot these brands and obviously they will burst.

MIUI is not as good as U thought. Almost every update come with bugs. For Xiaomi Android One device is an adopted child they dont want but needed if compare to MIUI devices is a Xiaomi blue eye childs that why Xiaomi Android One phone always have a bugs. Xiaomi had done online poll to find out which OS between MIUI and stock Android is people preferred and the result shows stock Android is more popular then Xiaomi eliminated that poll from their website.

If you set wallpapers with Full HD Plus resolution, with 18:9 (like f.e in Note 5, 5 Plus, Mi A2 etc, on A2 lite, it will be blured, because thats a 1080 x 2160px, and A2 Lite have higher resolution screen)..

Hi guys, just would like to ask whether mi a2 lite(without wifi 11ac standard) can achieve the same internet speed (around 250Mbps) as redmi note 3 (with wifi 11ac) on 5Ghz wifi? Your replies are much appreciated, thanks!

Anonymous, 25 Sep 2018The Nokia 5.1 plus at INR 10,999 with a P60 processor is a ... moreNokia (HMD) went wrong in 2018, for 3.1, 5.1, 5.1 Plus.. P60 is better than some other MtK, but still it's a MediaTek.. SD 636 is better, and for similar price, there are devices with SD660.
Nokia 6.1 Plus is better than Mi A2 Lite (but more expensive, logical), even better screen, back camera is little better, better processor (636), but have worse battery life, and same launcher3 (also known in Google ad, like androidone);]

The Nokia 5.1 plus at INR 10,999 with a P60 processor is a much better option than this phone. Who wants a 2 years old 625 processor which cant even handle pubg. Nokia is better

Kerbau Giler, 24 Sep 2018I used Moto One Power. My opinion Xiaomi are not really sin... more I thin somethin else is a reason why Note 4 have better battery, or at least that was a case in first half 2017 (before update to 7.0). First, again it's MIUI optimization, like you know, MIUI turn off background process, from version 7.. So, if you wanna to have f.e. Viber to work normally like notifications, calls, you need to set that app in security>>battery saver>>customs. MIUI optimization is enabled on all MIUI devices by default (you can turn off if you want). Second, Note 4 have smaller screen, way less pixels, because it's 16:9 1080p. Mi A2 Lite is not even 18:9, but 19:9 and have more pixels to light up.

But, some of A2 Lite have 2-3 problems by default (thats way androidone is not that good in Xiaomi models). First, proximinity sensor does not works always like it sould.
If you set Micro SD like external memory, some errors pop up (even on class 10 sd).
It can't go in recovery (shows "no command")
If you connect to PC/laptop via USB, only charges, PC/Laptop does not reconize device.. etc.. So thats that.. :D

When I set any wallpaper on home screen, the wallpaper look blur on the bottom. Not all wallpaper but many of them.

My opinion Xiaomi are not really sincere with their Android One phone actually they dont want it but no choice if not produce stock android phone they cannot capture new markets because some people like me are tired, bored and fatigue with skin UI like MIUI. if compare Mi A2 Lite with Redmi Note 4(RN4) both have a same chipset, SD625 and almost same battery capasity 4000mAh and 4100mAh but why the battery test done by GSMArena shows a big gap on result. RN4 come with Android 6 and upgrade to Android 7 mean while the Mi A2 Lite come with Android 8. Battery optimization on Android 6 and 7 is Doze basic and improved versions but Android 8 come with apps background executions and Mi A2 Lite suppose to have better battery test result than RN4 but it happens the other way around. Xiaomi also are quite late on pushing update for Mi A series if compare with another OEM with their stock Android phone. That why I dont want to buy any another phone from Xiaomi even its a stock Android phone like Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite.

The battery juice will drain fast with skin UI like MIUI because the UI are heavily customized and used more power than stock Android. I admit stock Android quite boring than skin UI but as U said its fast means no lags, the performance are impressive, fastest security update and best battery endurances and usaged. I can get 12-13 hour Screen On Time (SOT) usage with 5 day endurances with my stock Android phone. My Redmi phone only can get 6-7 hour SOT with 1 and half day endurances.

It's way more simplified, than anything else on the Android market, but stock does not have gesture (yet), don't have options to rerange buttons, don't have option to remove search bar (at least, this Launcher3), and in the end, if you look Redmi 6 Pro vs Mi A2 Lite, identical phone, just software is MIUI vs Stock.. & 6 Pro last longer 1.5h in video playback, so even battery optimization is better in MIUI. Still, Stock and Mi A2 Lite is not bad, really, it's fast have security updates, but, that is..
