I have question, does exist Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro in Gloval version (i know that Global rom exist for that model), or it's just for Chinese market, and Gloval version is A2 Lite (same phone, just with os that does not have options, and looks outdated).. Thanks. :)

If you prefer stock Android One UI, then definitely this Mi A2 Lite is the best you can get, only step back would be the SD625 SoC.
However, if you want overall package, bangs for bucks, Redmi Note 5 AI would be the more value added choice, with bigger screen size as well, proper SD636.
There is also the ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 that also pack pure Android experience but not Android One, SD636, 5000mah battery, dedicated slots as well.
From value point of view, of course get the more powerful SoC options for better value, Redmi Note 5 AI and ASUS Zenfone Max Pro M1 are the one to go.
Stock Android UI is not the sole reason to consider a phone, you got to consider the hardware as well, don't get over hyped with stock Android UI.
In real life those custom UI phone without stock Android UI work just fine, never really cause huge trouble. Only those nitpick user will hate certain custom UI.

zordon, 17 Aug 2018snap 625 is a joke. Remi 4 pro had already this SoC. There ... moreThis is all about cost of the phone that you don't want to understand.
Then, why not at this price, they pack in SD660? or SD835?
Sometime I feel Android smartphone are not giving it's own justice, where many with the cheap price tag, people will always want to ask for more.
Then, when some brand already pack in better spec in cheap price tag, people still compare it with more expensive phone with better spec.
Use one people's quote, if budget is not an issue, I would definitely pick a iPhone X, Samsung Note 9, and Google Pixel 2 XL over this.

solgule, 17 Aug 2018The Snapdragon 625 SoC uses the same Linux kernel 3.18 as t... moreIn order to reply you, you must also understand that any device, including the Google Pixel will end of support after few years.
This is the lowest and cheapest end of pure Android smartphone, and to be specific is Android One.
It is released in a market where cheap smartphone are well receive, and with these specs are more than enough for day to day usage.
At least this is what Google and Xiaomi try to achieve and seriously looking at affordable market rather than pack in high end SoC, then sold at more expensive price. You can always say they should update at least a SD636 SoC, why not also SD660?, but this is not.
So, before you really want to complain, check back the price tag again.
This Mi A2 lite would be more as the facelift to last year Mi A1 rather than the new Mi A2 with SD660.

william, 19 Aug 2018Mi A2 lite has got a 3.5mm jack. That's weird. The guy specifically talked about how he loved the 2.5 mm jack. Of course all the sites says it has a 3.5 mm but still I'm afraid I'll buy it and discover it's a 2.5. The official site doesn't mention the size though.
