The b... moreI have same issue, i.e messenger notifications pop up with delay or only when I open the app. Have not tried factory reset yet since upgrading to 10, maybe it will help. I don't rely on getting notifications so I haven't bothered to do it yet.

Bought used mi a2 (2y old), installed android 10, which got new stock fm app (qualcomm fm app) that is much better than old stock fm radio (higher volume, more quality fm signal strenght, rds, etc.)! Latest android 10 is quite fresh and safe to install now, earlier brick problems are solved, everything is fast and responsive, but sadly battery life with light usage is 2 days with 5-6h sot, 3 days with 4-5h sot, with wifi on battery drops quite fast for 4000 mah, also dont know why but charging is sooo f* long 4h for full charge, wtf...except that its a great cheap phone (80 - 90 bucks), no problem with camera on good light, not that good if dark. If charging would be faster/normal i would def recommend this phone, mainly for its good body size. I can help you with some questions (tho im not a phone gamer).

I've been using this phone for about a year now. The battery is great but there is a serious issue:
Apps keeps closing in the background, even if I go back to the desktop for a second or so. As a result, Whatsapp calls and messages are missed, notifications on some apps are missed. I have already disabled battery optimisation for all the software I need to "keep active" and all battery saving measures are disables on the phone. I have a RedMi 3S with Android 6.0.1 and never had similar problems. This is a fatal flaw if you depend on the phone for important messages delivered timely.
Anyone had similar experience and probably a solution?

HAM511, 14 Oct 2020Phone is freezing, is slow, hanging on Apps, Chrome.. There... moreI installed LineageOS 17.1 (based on Android 10) on my Mi A2 Lite. The phone flies and the battery life has at least doubled. I have 82% battery life after 1 day with 7 days left :)

Phone is freezing, is slow, hanging on Apps, Chrome.. There is September update waiting but I have not installed. Phone has been sluggish. Android 10. I've used for 2 years now, quite heavily. Help.

@Dolle Do you have the latest Security update for september (V11.0.11.0.QDLMIXM)?
I also had problems with touch and was stuck at february Security update so I downloaded newer version from Xiaomi Community https://c.mi.com//miuidownload/detail?device=1700354 and installed it from my SD-card in the recovery menu and now everything works perfect!

Phone must be operated by usb mouse, not so practical..
I tried to change screen, but it didn't help. Some software bug? Other hardware failure?
This is actually a great phone and it's been used heavily for the last 2 years.

Use official MiFlash tool and official Android 8.1 rom, coze Android 10 makes it slow and stoopid.

Hi. Please help friends. My gps doesn't work properly. And my spot point just scatter all the time. I recently upgraded to android 10. And after that I've got this problem.
And also I tried turning off the wifi and bluetooth scanning . And the Google accuracy must be on, else it won't work. Thanks

Downgraded from 10 back to 8.1 a week ago.
The phone is super fast and responsive again!
