IPhone might not have a big ram,but its operating system is very small compared to android. This makes iPhone very fast.

Even aple X dont have 4GB ram and 4000 mAh cost 10x more.

Xiaomi needs to adress it's software implementation of the notch, not beeing able to get the notifications is a no go. And snapdragon 636 would have been great. They have launched to many Phones that are to close to each other.

I like this phone, for the only reason that this is somehow a redmi 4 pro remake FHD. Apart from the notch that can be hidden, and it's good to have a little more screen, it's the first decent redmi under 150mm of 2018. I can't stand for example a redmi note 5 that doesn't really enter my pockets. And in addition they went for the 4000mah battery that was the trademark of the redmis but went discarded in redmi 5-6. I'm definitely waiting the global version for Europe. I don't care a lot about sd625 if it's still good, and it is.

And I forgot for a moment that the Nokia X6 exists because as of now, it's still exclusive to China. Nokia should hurry up and release it internationally already.

Even their flagship Mi 8 is no longer as compact as it's predecessors, so that's not an option either. The Mi 8 SE should've had these same dimensions to occupy that sort of "mini flagship" spot so it doesn't cannibalize the Mi 8 sales.

SoC should've been at least SD630 (slightly better GPU). This Pro variant is supposed to be better than the regular Redmi 6, so it seems that Xiaomi thinks the SD625 is better than the MTK P22. By extension, they might have unknowingly admitted that Redmi 5 has a better SoC than its successor.
Although this is a relatively compact phone, it's still not really compact. I can't choose to buy over the similarly priced Redmi Note 5 AI with better hardware overall.

I really like the fact that they have made this one a bit smaller, easier to use one-handed. I would have happily paid more for SD 660 though.

we need physical switch to switch off microphone and camera, because facebook just took patent to use phone microphone to spy on us without asking permission? if its true, we need physical switch to switch microphone off.

Is there any difference between the Chinese version and International version of this phone? Currently its only on sale in China and pervious models of Redmi had problems. Did they overcome these in this version?
