Just updated my mi a3 several hours ago. what can i say.. im quite satisfy.. fingerprint seems faster, animation faster and smooth, gesture navigation just wow to me.. the least i expected was gaming experience a bit better compare to a9.

I haven't encountered any of the reported problems. The performance is just as good as android 9. I really like gesture navigation, it works with smooth animations. The finger print scanner works perfectly, and battery life remained the same, I haven't noticed any difference. I also didn't do factory reset, because everything works fine.

Frickinpanda, 08 May 2020Not many changes really, expected way more such as dual app... moreAs for the battery, it's rather the opposite: I seem to have a much better life after the upgrade. Maybe I had changed a setting before that is responsible for this but I don't think so. The only issue I encountered since the move to Android 10 is that internet access via mobile data no longer worked. I had to configure the APN as per my provider manually. No it's OK.

guys i received thr notification about updating my xiaomi Mi A3 to android 10 two days ago, i'm still on android 9 though because of the reviews of some ppl who have already installed the update and noticed some bugs. Should i update it or still wait ?

Miki, 25 Apr 2020Xiaomi mi a3 have better battery, note 8 have better camera... morenope.. mi a3 has better camera.. trust me.. im compared it myself.. amoled display really amazing. btw im using gcam.

I updated my device to android 10 this Wednesday on 6.5.2020. I dont have any bugs but after the update charging port has resolved. But before updating to android 10 I had issues with charging port. After the update my mi a3 is working flawless.

Its a good phone but lately Xiaomi support is getting worse. Android 10 update came very late despite being an Android One device. The update brings a few bugs which is quite annoying.

Very disappointed with android 10. Icon grid has lower density now and i cannot fit on the screen what i had before. Last app button does not go to last app but scrolls through every open app 1 by 1

For the past two months I've read how terrible Mi A3 Android 10 update is. I was really in doubt if I should I update or not.
I decide to install it, works flawlessly, no downside. Only downside maximum exposure time 1/4s in the updated camera, but I'm using gcam anyway.

I haven't nnoticed much difference either, mind. From a user perspective, 10 is more of a very minor update over 9. Frankly, I don't get all the exitement.

After having this phone for 3 months now, here's the cons i came across:
1. 720p is a big downgrade from 1080p, i did spend a lot of time in youtube before this phone, then i stopped because the quality is just horrible.
2. Volume up and down doesn't work while the screen is off(that's a bummer while you're listening to music)
3. The phone goes f#cktard mode from time to time, and overheats like hell.
4. Camera isn't that good as i expected.
