Yes, the 720p screen is a bit of a let down (but it's actually rather good), the processor should be better (but it's quite enough in terms of everyday routines), and yes, the price should be lower (and it soon will be), but the real problem for me is the amount of RAM.

4GB of RAM doesn't make this phone future-proof, as it's quite clear that most new apps (and the existing ones as well) are getting more and more resource-hungry, and 4GB will be lower league in a year for every advanced user out there who uses, for example, phone automation apps, alternative email clients, screen control apps, non-stock launchers, lockscreen notification apps (since phones no longer light up for new notifications and have no notification LEDs), etc.

If there would be a version with 6GB of RAM, I'd jump the gun and buy the phone in an instant. Right now, I'm not so sure.

          I was so looking forward to this phone especially since it's somewhat compact but the specs really let me down big time. It's a worthless upgrade over Mi A2.

              It may make sense for gaming but the games are going to look pixelated.. how nice.

                      I don't get it. Why would I pick this over CC9e? Specs are exactly the same and the only difference is that I can unlock phone's bootloader without problems versus CC9e whole Mi Unlock bullshit.

                      But going through the hassle on CC9e, I can get the exact same ROM like on A3 and save 80 EUR? Doesn't make any sense to pay that much for easy bootloader unlock option.

                        Better performance
                        Better fingerprint reader- a50 in -dsplay scanner sucks
                        Best for single handed use
