Mi Max- the only phone or perhaps the cheapest phone in India offering 128GB ROM @ 20K INR. Eliminates the Storage issues and you can use hybrid slots for 2 Sim cards exclusively.
Frustration is its non availability for purchase.

Go to store and compare in real. Smaller resolution/ppi cannot be fixed by Super Amoled and brightness. Therefore, you didn't get a better display than Mi Max.

Therefore you still have a lousy display than Mi Max. I'm telling you this from a phone seller's point of view and I am selling both of them. Forget about the YouTube video, why not you come to the store and compare them in real.

Its pointless to spend 50% more wen u can get good specs in mi max but but u will not get great camera and brighter screen.

I'm having MiMax for 2days... I will say luckily I bought this phone... Having it with global rom. It's stable and I have nothing to complain about it except too big as a phone, hahaha... I'm a moderate gamers and it's work perfectly for me... It's score 79k on AnTuTu, and I will say it's top of the class compare to 2015 Q4 phone... You will not regrets having this, unless it's too big for you... Hahaha...

1. Low resolution and ppi, hence less decent the display, something that brightness or AMOLED cannot fix it.
2. Slow chipset, lag during internet browsing, not even mentioned about its gaming experience.
3. 2gb Ram, tolerance for apps to standby is lower.
4. Internal only 16gb, less space
5. Only Accelerometer and Proximity sensors
6. No Fingerprint
At about the same price you have to be nuts to go for J7. If brand is the issue, I rather top up my money for Samsung A9 Pro, which is just 50% more but fairly better than Mi Max.

About quick charging, I can confirm that the phone does go over 10w when using a xiaomi5 charger (qc3). The power meter shows a voltage around 7-8 volts and a current of around 2 amps. Thats around 15w of charging power. I'm not 100% sure but I do think the phone can draw more than 2 amps which means a powerful non-qc charger should be able to supply a charging power of above 10w.

The only big different is the screen size.
Mi Max is seriously big at 6.44 inch, barely can put into pocket and can't hold properly with single hand. It should me treated as mini tablet rather than a phone.
Redmi Note 3 Pro would be much more comfortable to use, but with smaller screen, but it isn't too small, still into phablet category with 5.5" screen, but much more comfortable to use.
