I don't know beyond the 8.1.2 & not eager to experiment much either. They didn't stated much about the 8.1.4 change log, it's again only stated as the "security update" & again it's complete ROM 1.3GB so people are starting to get pissed off. Think I will pass this one out.

Hi Guys, can somebody tell me whether Mi Max 64GB is still able to receive call from Sim 2 with caller id shown while we are talking to a party on Sim 1? Pls help, I intend to buy this phone for business usage but was worry that it will not work like what I want. Will appreciate much of Your help.

Is anyone here familiar with geekbuying dot com? That's where I ordered. It's early days but I've had no update since placing the order so slightly concerned. Maybe I'm jumping the gun but if anyone could allay my fears, it would be greatly appreciated.

how is the general performance; battery backup, charging time, miui stability, connectivity (wifi, gps, mobile network etc) and camera quality compare to (my current miui) v7.5?

Then use it and let it run down again. Then fully charge it again then do a full factory reset. Set it up as a new device rather than a restore. I did this with my Samsung Galaxy S5 when I had a similar problem when I got it two years ago. Never had a problem since.

Anonymous, 12 Dec 2016this is a great phone, that would be perfect if it has sams... moreThe battery is so easy to replace. YouTube it. The back isn't even glued on. Comes out with a bit of force using a suction cup and a guitar pick. Easy to do. The battery only has one flex cable connection to the motherboard. The battery is the Bm49 which you can get cheaply on eBay or Amazon. It's a big reason I purchased it.

Don't think they have retail chains in Europe. I got mine from geekbuying.com via PayPal to minimize the risk. First experience with them but can also get them via eglobal central and DX.com.

Ordered it last night. 200 euros. Can't really go wrong. Sure if it's rubbish, It's not an iPhone 7 plus which costs stupid money. Most important consideration for me was the snapdragon clocked at 1.8 GHz and plenty of ram too. All the reviews I read are very positive really. Plus, if you look at integrated, unibody phones, it's easily the closest with the one plus to having a replaceable battery. The back clicks out with a little effort but is not glued in and there's a fee screws over the battery. Nothing major plus the battery us not even glued down with adhesive either. Looking forward to it.
