Using Mi Max 2 since a year. Would prefer a wee bit lesser unit size: ~160 x 80 x 8.5 mm. Battery size can be reduced if necessary.

By default, RAM should be at least 6GB by default, and NFC should be included
Lenovo z5 is already at least 6GB

There are a lot of 'handy' phones out there, if you want a BIG display you don't want be cheated with a big number diagonal number in a skinny screen.

I hope that the mi max 3 price is the same as the mi max 2 when released last year. cant wait to buy one.

Because I like to watch media on my MiMax I am more inclined to upgrade to a MiMix (1st gen) or a MiMax4gb. That way I don't have to carry around black bars in my pocket.（Mix is close to 16:9) What's the point of going bezelless if you replace them with black bars?
You won't see any 2:1 AR tvs/projectors coming out any time soon. For work it's nice but I'd rather stick with a bezelless 16:9.

alca, 15 Jun 2018The sad truth is that 7inch 18:9 gives you no more screen s... moreYou are getting mutch better dual app experience, browsing in portrait mode for a 18:9 is mutch better than 16:9 , you lose for video a bit of screen size , but is still mutch better, you can't have 16:9 at this size 6.99 inch , it would be very hard to hold in hand.

16:9 is too broad and outdated, and the new ones are too elongated. 18:9 is the golden environment. Notches and rounded corners are disgusting and must disappear.

The sad truth is that 7inch 18:9 gives you no more screen space than a 6.4 inch 16:9. And you'll get black bars around everything you watch. Damn it..

My dad is Using Mi Max 2, Cuz he need phone with big screen & battery, Im surprised to see that this phone is really fast & responsive with very powerful battery back up, & fully charged in just two hours... Its display is nice but camera is average...
Im very excited for MiMax 3 but disappointed to know that it will come with just 4 GB Ram 👎
Hope So Mi Max 3 will come with better camera with potrait mode as well, then this time ill buy it for myself

If history is any indication, SD710 would be too rich for Mi Max 3. In the past the Max series have had chipsets on par with the current Redmi Note series, which this time would be SD636.

I would love for the Mi Max 3 to have compatibility in the U.S. Hopefully, they add 6GB RAM and leave everything the same...including front firing speakers. I would so buy this

Currently Mi Max 2, 06 Jun 2018I wanted to get Mi Max 3 and keep Mi Max 2 as a backup phon... moreI agree, I'd love an 8 inch phone. I had one previously, it was an Asus with dual SIM and I absolutely loved it but after a while it got too slow for me and I had to upgrade.
If Xiaomi done an 8 inch I would buy it immediately as like most women, I carry my phone in my handbag, not pocket, so the bigger screen would be fantastic for me.

I wanted to get Mi Max 3 and keep Mi Max 2 as a backup phone in case Mi Max 3 gets lost/stolen.Happy about larger screen but even 7.5 inch would be better.But not 10 inch this is too cumbersome(unless you have 7.5 AND 10 inch & people can choose)Not happy it is still octacore.Octacore is good but I want DECACORE Xiaomi!! Mi Max 4 must have larger screen & DECACORE! Also you must NEVER EVER get rid of "blue screen reduction" as this reduces the eyestrain VERY much! VERY GOOD when using screen for long time!
