Shrinking the bezels doesn't yield place for buttons.
And yeah, wireless charging+IP rating requires changing back. I believe it's hard (yet not impossible, look at iPhone 7 for example) to have Metal back that allows water resistance. But impossible to have wireless charging+metal back

I have the Mi Max 2. Awesome phone, great price, mega battery, fantastic screen and I love this phone more than my Galaxy S7. It has only 4 areas where they could improve the phone:
1. No IP rating - would be nice to have some water resistance
2. 4 Gb or Ram - I would like 6Gb
3. Huge bezels on top and bottom. Although I love the buttons on the bottom.
4. Wireless charging however this would get rid of the fantastic metal build.

They couldn't include a snapdragon 845, dedicated microsd slot (instead of useless hybrid dual sim) and a better camera in a so huge device?

Using Mi Max 2 since a year. Would prefer a wee bit lesser unit size: ~160 x 80 x 8.5 mm. Battery size can be reduced if necessary.

By default, RAM should be at least 6GB by default, and NFC should be included
Lenovo z5 is already at least 6GB

There are a lot of 'handy' phones out there, if you want a BIG display you don't want be cheated with a big number diagonal number in a skinny screen.

I hope that the mi max 3 price is the same as the mi max 2 when released last year. cant wait to buy one.
