On XDA forum there is leaks about SD670 be rebranded to SD710 with 8 cores, 2 Big core(Customised Cortex A75 core) + 6 Little core(Customized Cortex A55 core) and GPU Adreno 615 with frequencies ranging between 430MHz-700Mhz. XDA also mention this new chipset may come to at least 2 Xiaomi phone code name Comet and Sirius.

But till now we not heard anything from Qualcomm when they will officially release SD670, SD640 and SD460.

MithleshG, 11 Apr 2018Latest leak suggest max 3 will powered by snapdragon 670I read about this leak from GizChina but the SD670 still not release officially by Qualcomm meaning no phone can use it till Qualcomm make it official and I doubt about it. The best chipset Mi Max 3 will get either SD660 or SD636 base on speculations by tech websites. If we see backward the original Mi Max and Mi Max 2 will have similar chipset with Redmi Note series. The original Mi Max and Redmi Note 3 both use SD650 except for the Mi Max Prime that use SD652, and Mi Max 2 and Redmi Note 4 also share a same SD625, with this pattern I believe Mi Max 3 also will have same chipset with Redmi Note 5 China or RN5 Pro, SD636. Maybe Xiaomi will bring back the Prime version that come with SD660. If SD670 want to be use by Mi Max 3 first the chipset must be official release by Qualcomm then it take at least 3 or 4 month period after the launch before the first SD670 phone will be available to the market.

Is there any hope that they will include the 800MHz frequency this time?
I really didn't understand why they didn't included it in the first place.
I'm sure the Max 2 would've sold in the bucket loads in the UK.

Actually Mi Max 3 are not exist yet because not officially launch by Xiaomi. All the Mi Max 3 design and specifications are speculated, the real Mi Max 3 design and specification still not been finalised by Xiaomi. The real Mi Max 3 will emerge when Xiaomi launch it officially till then everything is speculated.
