India has the widest smartphone selection and I applaud that, however I wouldn't attack the US market and call it inferior when we don't need too many low-end phones flooding our country.

KEEP THE TWO SIM SLOTS SEPARATE FROM MICRO SD SLOT!
and if there can be a 6-inch size one hand mode where the rest of the screen switches off to save energy....that would give best of both worlds

7 inch bezel less DISPLAY? Wow, Friggin Awesome! That's what iam talking about. I still wouldn't mind if they go up to 7.44 inch since the mi max flaunts a 6.44 inch bezel-full display. But I've got a feeling that xiaomi might just take the low road and go for snapdragon 630 chipset only without the high end variant that includes SD 660.

full bezel less and contrast 1500

I like this. It has really BIG LCD screen, BIG battery and good SD660 AP. Other features I like : 4 GB RAM & storage, modern USB Type-C connector, Micro SD slot, metal back (no glass back), Modest single (not dual) camera ( 12M back + 5 M front are OK), FM Radio, 3.5 mm jack. Android 8.0 Oreo out of box. All good for modest PRICE! I hope same price as previous Mi Max 2. 1699 CNY($258 USD) for 64GB model.

So... judging by the specs, this phone will basically be a tablet with slim bezels. Why not add Wacom compatibility? Looks like it'd be great as a drawing tablet.

I want to buy this.... excited with my wife..i will buy 3 with the 128gb internal or if God will 256gb internal with sd card.... For multimedia purpose and lots of apps and games so cool thank you for sharing this we will save our money for next year for this.... Super thank you
