i spent $1,100 on this phone, and I f....ing hate it.
too thick, too heavy and the battery dies too quickly

Been using MI MAX for 2 weeks now. Would be getting MI MIX soon. Even the 200 usd Mi Max is more than what i can ask for.

The main reason i sent my Mi Mix back was a dark patch on the screen. Also IPS is nothing on AMOLED. I ended up getting a full refund after eBay stepped in. Will wait for the S8 plus.
My other big gripe with the Mi Max is how difficult it is to get rid of the chinese side of things and install google play and associated google software... Xiaomi should have a setup option that allows you to chose between Chinese apps and default google apps. I wanted to love this phone because of the design but it just wasn't there.

did a beautiful job with the ceramic case and the 4,000 mAh battery, now al it needs is make it only wireless charger, only wireless earphones, fingerprint reader ON the screen, seal it completely to make the first full waterproof phone to make the perfect phone, and a rough version with a mini solar panel in the back would be awesone for us who live on/near the ocean

Please next time put a better front facing camera on your high end phone like this. You should even move to 10 or 12 mp camera in the front Because the phone is expensive.
