I don't know... with a 5.2" screen a bezel-less phone makes sense, as it brings the size down to a 4.7" phone. With a screen this large you'll need two hands anyway and bezels are probably useful to help hold the phone. Maybe it was easier to make one this large ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

1) it is a custom display. and you will not be able to differentiate between either unless you are Superman and have Supernatural eyes.
2) Even the "So Called" best phones are made in China
3) You cannot literally even fill 128 GB, and again if you are Superman, you have 256GB - So external memory card option is not required
4) it takes some courage to do this, so after Sharp releasing a similar model, this is a way to look into the future which the "So Called" bigger brands didn't have the guts to do.
So Hats Off Xiaomi.
I am definitely gonna try this mobile although I am not a fan of Android.
