To my mind (and taste) the size is unfortunate. I love Mi5 mainly because it perfectly seats in my hand. It is a phone, not tablet, guys ! I don't see any single reason to combine them in a monster called phablet. Hopefully, this stupid fashion will disappear soon.

MIUI looks better than EUI, but doubt if it works better than EUI.
In my opinion, EMUI 5.0 is better than both. Better, faster and more beautiful.

there are several sites that you can preorde this phone from but i am not sure if these r scams or real, one of the sites is geekbuying and the other is http://xiaomi-mi.com/mi-mix/

I like it but I don't like it; non-removable battery is a NO NO! No card slot is a NO NO! IP68? Otherwise it could be good but so far, no cigar!

Gone are the glory days of Apple and eventually will have to go down the prices of their products stars assumptions. Today there are many brands including Chinese, who make cell of very good quality and at a price that indisputably Apple can not compete. I have known people who have phones Huawei since 2011 and never have decided to change because they have turned out much better than expected.

It's not to say they can't recover but even with the note 7 fiasco samsung still has double the market share of Apple... Huawei is closing the gap as the second largest smartphone manufacturer fast and the iPhone 7 hasn't really done Apple any favors... In Australia Oppo are outselling iphones and samsung about 3 to 1 which is unheard of because they have only been in market for less than 2 years here.
