I worked out some rough overall dimensions using the aspect ratio, a bit of simple trig, and assuming similar side/top bezel width to the 2S (and bottom bezel similar to top/side).

Roughly, they're aiming for the same width as the Mix 2S, right about 3". They're able to fit the 0.5" larger screen in a similar width due to the new 19.5:9 aspect ratio, but it will be taller as a result, around 6.5" overall, or just slightly taller than a Galaxy Note 9.

Basically, if you want to get a feel for the footprint of this phone ahead of time, go handle a Galaxy Note 9. The Mix 3 will likely be thicker with the sliding mechanism, but otherwise they're probably the most comparable footprint that you will easily be able to find in stores unless you live in China.

      also, a 10GB variant could be launched early 2019 bcs as i know, atm no chip can handle 10GB of ram. next gen snapdrageon should be first who can do it, also 5g. im wondering how they worked it out

        hmmm i cant believe they use IPS display in all variants... fingerprint under display isnt possible with an IPS display, have to be oled:/

            I also wish a smaller size (say, 5.7-5.9'') version. I quite buy this sliding feature.

              I wish they had a smaller screen version of this with the same body and functionality. 6.5" is a fairly large phone to use with one hand.

                      Right at the top of the spec sheet it states, "Unofficial preliminary specifications". So, don't get your panties in a bunch because of the specifications shown on this website.

                        lol you know when I saw the Find X I thought yeah okay, we'll see one dumb design like this and it'll help us move forward... but again? this is just the worst. manufacturers are dumb.

                          They should wait. Wait until they have the tech to embed the front camera and other components.

                          This flip selfie camera is like the ugly notch, or the back fingerprint. A stop get measure. Now with the iPS.. its really a backward thinking.

                          Now better to wait for mix4. Let this one rot.

                                not at all an ips panel is not bad at all sure the blacks are nice on amoled but they can burn and not to mention expensive. although mi se had amoled so most likely it too will have amoled

                                  And why would they quit, hopefully eventually all will have bezeless flagships, there still is room to improve and the mi mix series was the one to lead
