Bought this unit last April, and here are some remarks:
- Love the NVidia Tegra choice on this device! It barely crashed for games with high requirements
- Cameras are mediocre, hardly use them though, no complaints
- Additional storage pod up to 128 GB, like it, I can store as many books as I want
- Sound quality? Mediocre, but it's not a pain in your ears anyways
- Battery stamina? Superb! Wait, it's at first! After few months, it seems to give up easily; can't really tell, most of the times I play games with loud speakers on it, it might be the cause of its battery drain
- No GSM connection? Hello, it's only $250 device with magnificent processor & graphic processor! You want GSM? Go for Samsung Tab then, otherwise if GSM connection would add $30 to this unit, I might steer away to Nokia N1
- MiUI is a mess, page arrangements is pain in the neck if you continuously switching between landscape & portrait. Solution: put a launcher! I installed Nova Launcher and Voila! You're headache is gone
- MiUI (virtual) keyboard is also a dead weight here, I put in Google (virtual) keyboard, it didn't get any better. Might need somebody's input on this matter.
Verdict: recommended buy folks, if you're gamers, youtube crawlers or even readers type.
Side Note: still having this "what if I buy" thoughts about Nokia N1 & Nexus 9, but those two haven't landed in Indonesia yet, I'd say go with the next best thing

Need help my Bluetooth connection seems not working it can pair but I can't transfer a file even a kb file.

I have purchased mi tablet or pad 7.9inch recently from flipkart.
What I found good and satisfactory is following:
Tablet looks and weight, Screen resolution and Camera all awsome
Problems or unsatisfactory points are below:
1)Sometimes application get hang and does not open or do required operation. It gives error application not responding. It happens frequently.
2) two times it has happened that on clicking on writing space the typing key pad does not appear especially on while surfing internet. In this case you have to close the application completely.
3) battery is not that much extraordinary as projected. This tab do not have any sim so it is expected that battery must last long but it is not so. If you are using WiFi hotspot connection from your mobile the battery drains fast. Better plugin tab and use.

Any comments regarding battery life mine I use internet for 30 minutes I got 92%. Is it true that battery can last long?

AnonD-309546, 01 Aug 2015No you cannot. It has no SIM support so you can use WhatsAp... moreNo.. Its not so.. Whatsapp only requires the mobile number to register it and send the verification code. So provide the number you want to register as your whatsapp number (even if it is not inserted in the mi pad). You just need to have the sim active in ANY phone, just to receive the verification code. Enter that code in the Whatsapp installed in yiur mi pad and you're done. That's it.

You're wrong man, you can use Whatsapp, just download the apk from Whatsapp official website, install it, and confirm your mobile number by the message, that's all.
