It's has old flagship soc just like xiaomi Pad 5 and you know what it overheats massively on simple tasks!!! Drains battery like crazy AND IT LAGS. Xiaomi Pad 5 uses cheap Chinese battery cells just like Huawei and guess what. MASSIVE Downgrade in battery life in 2 years of use!! You don't get lag and cheap battery cells with any with samsung

A tablet's main use is for multimedia purposes. If you lack in display then you're not making a good tablet. No one really cares that much about processors in tablet. I would've liked if they gave a mediore processor with great display. IPS would've been fine too. 90Hz would've been fine too. But they chose the worst display possible. I can't believe a $400 device is still using TFT in 2021. At least not from Samsung. They make the best displays. Their smartphone usually has the best display in the budget. I hope they do a better job in S8 FE

So i can get this one 256gb 6gb for 399 euros. OR samsung S7 FE 4/64gb wifi for 420 euros.
I compared the 2 cpus, SD860 vs SD778 and after analysis...ITS NOT EVEN CLOSE. SD 778 is much better choice And samsung quality overall. Yes it will suck 4gb 64gb but i get bigger display, better battery life , faster Ram , and faster soc in some cases. SD860 is OLD and HOT. Is not that much faster at all.

If it still exist after changing your display setting; you should claim your warranty or repair your display. I was genuinely surprised, when I first saw tiktok videos on pad 5. It felt like, I was looking at a real person through a window. I wonder how Xiaomi managed to create such a wonderful display using LCD technology.

Hello . I have been using mi PaD 5 . I have noticed a bluish patch when screen is in dark mode . Either if I scroll down notification icon there is a small blue area. Similarity in dark mode it's also evident ... U feel there is some blue colour in LCD . Has anyone else also noticed it ? Is it normal ? Can anyone guide . I have started disliking tablet already ... Ur comments will be highly appreciated

I am proud owner for almost two weeks of this tablet and I can say nothing but nice words for it. It has fullfilled all my expectations considering tablet. So far I dodnt see a need for gps. Screen is amazins. sound also. Functionalities perfect.

It's freaking gorgeous
Screen is crisp at 120hz butter smooth
Streaming becomes immersive and true cinematic
The audio is just WOW, put it in MAX and enjoy the movie!

To those looking to connect this to elgato or to stream mobile gaming, keep in mind this tablet does not support hdmi output so it will not work, you can only do cast function which adds to latency.

I am using Logitech K480 with Mi Pad 5, it feels like a small laptop.
You can use this off brand keyboard with Mi pad 5 if you dont have access to official Mi keyboard for this tab
