DroidBoye, 10 Nov 2021The main problem with OLED in the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro is... moreThis entire comment is nonsense. I have the Lenovo Pad Pro and it has no image retention and no dirty screen effect (DSE is usually an LCD TV problem as most tend to have large screens without localized back light dimming, sport.) If you get a color problem it is because you decided to keep the brightness so low that everything got washed out anyway. That is, if you ever actually had your hands on one of these Lenovo pads instead of BSing in every post. I use the Lenovo pen on my Pad Pro, as well as Ipads at work with a variety of drawing and CAD apps, and, again, no issues whatsoever. Folks, if you want a top notch pad with an OLED screen at a great price go for the Lenovo. If you someway prefer the LCD screen of the Xiaomi, go for that. Both are good pads but the standout values are in the Lenovo lineup this year.

This tablet is okay given the specs and the price. İt is not great but nearly every competitor is either overpriced or too weak. It has no 3.5mm jack. I would not be buying anything without the good ole jack yet i gave it a try. No SD card too so really on the edge of becoming something overpriced. LCD does not bother much but to be honest I miss the crispiness of OLED. Sometimes the brightness does not feel enough, probably due to LCD backlighting. The pen does not come bundled like in Samsung which is a huge negative. I bought it for 100 dollar from China. So if you want actually a usable tablet, this costs around 450 dolar. İt probably uses mpp pen but I haven't been able to test it. Xiaomi again tries to be a wannabe Apple as they added Bluetooth authentication to their proprietary pen so not every surface pen will work on this.(again it is what I have heard, not exact info)
Also I did not get why everyone lashes out to MIUI but hell it really sucks. I was stuck in setup screen because there were no buttons and it for bugged. Not a great first impression.

Anonymous, 21 Oct 2021I've owned a Lenovo Pad Pro for a number of months and... moreThe main problem with OLED in the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro is that they can easily get image retention during basic drawing session for example around 30 mins (a bad indicator that can be associated to a bad OLED that will easily get burn-ins over time). It's really bad for a tablet with a stylus that people would draw for hours. The OLED display also have bad uniformity (dirty screen effect, not to mention color tinting) at very-low brightness something that no one should experience at that pricepoint but users are just accepting it like they deserve it. lol.

Really good tablet for the price of only 349USD that would also go down during monthly discount sales.

Torino, 19 Oct 2021Views needed, from someone who's hopefully impartial a... moreI've owned a Lenovo Pad Pro for a number of months and tried out the new Xiaomi pads extensively at a local store. I prefer the OLED display of the Lenovo as it is just plain better for movies and the like. The Xiaomi's slightly faster screen refresh rate LCD screen might be a pick if you are a twitch game player but that is really kind of a limited use difference for anyone else. Overall, the Lenovo is a more refined product at the OS implementation level while Xiaomi is kind of pushing sizzle over steak. Both are good choices so it probably comes down to the price you can buy either of them at.

Views needed, from someone who's hopefully impartial and informed - Lenovo Pad Pro or Xiaomi Pad 5??
They seem to be pretty similar - but screen quality is v.important to me.
