Anyone got 12.5.2.0 for global version? This came like a month after the miui 12.5.1

Im on miui 12.5 for some time now. Its smooth and working fine.
Some issues with dubble apps but besides that everything is fine.

BEN90, 02 Aug 2021You never get tired? You've already answered his quest... moreOf course I like the phone. The reason I'm criticizing it is because of the horrendous Xiaomi update that deserved criticism. Android 10 was perfect and the phone was perfect until Xiaomi had to ruin it for selfish reasons - it doesn't want users to use custom launchers. If nobody expresses disgust, Xiaomi will never correct it and Poco F2 Pro users will be forced to use Xiaomi's poor Poco launcher which is nowhere near in versatility, finesse, functionality, customizability and smoothness of Nova launcher. I don't want that to happen because I invested my hard earned money on this phone and fixing the software is as easy as allowing users to rollback which Xiaomi doesn't allow, or releasing a new software with bug fixes to fix gesture bugs with custom launchers like Nova launcher.

If you don't like the phone, sell it and move on. Just staying here bashing poco f2 pro is starting to look ridiculous.

It's not a perfect smartphone, but it's an excellent one, and at its price range, it's a smartphone to beat

Amazing phone but it has a few weak points :
                  -Display suffers from black crush
-miui is a heavy skin with a few bugs here and there, also it doesn't feel as smooth as stock Android, even with sd865
-H+ ( 3g ) is missing some bands in Europe and might not work in some places with some carriers
                  - if you care about 5g, this phone has only the 3.5 GHz band so you won't have 5g in most places

Anonymous, 29 Jul 2021Does anyone know if the V12.5.1.0.RJKEUXM supports Nova Lau... moreNope. Gesture navigation won't work. You'll have to unhide the navigation bar so you can tap the home, recent apps or back button. It effectively ruins the full display experience of the hole free Poco F2 Pro. Xiaomi forces users to stay on the default Poco launcher so it can monitor user activity and the users' usage pattern and habits, to improve the horrendously buggy MIUI software update and for some other backdoor activities.

Otherwise, keep as far away from those horrendous Xiaomi updates like Covid19 as much as possible. You'll thank me for it!

However, it's not the same as the newer 4G/4G+/LTE technology which has much higher speeds which in turn, are outperformed by the latest 5G/NR technology that offers the highest achievable mobile/wireless data speeds.

I want a phone that can acces... moreYes, if you assign any sim card slot of the Poco F2 Pro to run on 5G, ('prefer 5G' or '5G/4G/3G/2G auto'), the other SIM will be turned off so you can't have dual SIM operation anymore. That's one of the horrible things about the Poco F2 Pro.

Other 5G Xiaomi phones and ALL 5G Samsung phones allow you to have 5G on one SIM and still use the other SIM simultaneously. However, you can only assign one 5G SIM at a time, and it has to be your data SIM. The other SIM can only have 4G/3G/2G if the first one is already on 5G (the data SIM). Now you can switch and have that other SIM also run 5G, but then, the first sim (previously running on 5G), will now be downgraded to 4G/3G/2G.

Both SIMs, regardless of which you choose to run 5G (with the other on 4G), will still be able to send and receive calls and text.

Finding a phone that can operate on dual SIM even if one of the SIMs is running on 5G is easy, but finding one that has a pop up selfie camera in addition to the first requirement is difficult. None of the Samsung phones and Xiaomi phones can satisfy both. The only other phone brands that offer pop up selfie cameras are mostly older Oppo, Oneplus and Vivo phones and I'm not sure if they allow you to use 2 SIMs simultaneously if you want to use 5G. They could behave like the Poco F2 Pro so better ask owners of those other phones in their respective forums if they allow dual SIM operation when one SIM is on 5G.

And i guess the fact that the networks often shows 4g, 4g+ and h+ means the 4g network is very unstable in your area..
