Been using this since Aug2020. MIUI isn't a rom for long term usage. You definitely need to format as some lags can be noticed and the bugs take insanely 2months to get a word from the latest patch. You're not even sure if they fix it. I flashed derpfest rom this May and I can finally feel that SD865 chipset.

I've had this phone for about a year now and it has suddenly stopped charging. Searched for YouTube for a solution and found out twisting the body resumes charging but not for long as a slight movement can stop the charging again (possibly poor soldering). Xiaomi clearly has quality and durability issues. For 5 years, I've been defending it as a quality product and would easily dismiss other people's experience as pure bad luck. However, for a phone at this price level, this kind of sloppy quality control is simply unacceptable. I've had six other midrange and even entry level Xiaomi phones that cost half and even 1/4 the price of this phone and most of them managed 3 years before experiencing charging problems. Avoid buying this phone or any Xiaomi phone for that matter if the seller doesn't offer you a reliable return policy or warranty against defects in material and workmanship. I'm out of luck because it only has 1 year warranty and it broke just after a year. So long Xiaomi, it was nice being my preferred phone of choice for the past 5 years but with 3 out of 8 Xiaomi phones in my household malfunctioning within a year to a year and a half with clear signs of defects in material and workmanship, this third and last one (my most expensive Xiaomi purchase since I've got the 256GB Poco F2 Pro), is more than enough for me to conclude you have gone from good to worst and so I'm now avoiding you like the plague.

12.2.6 update is very good considering ram management, I got 3.9-3.5 free ram, the previous one had like 3.1gb max, I hope they fix the other bugs such as full screen gestures on 3rd party launcher, and the camera its so buggy.
