That's proof you can't set SIM 2 at all to your desired network mode. Only SIM 1 can be set, at least for the Poco F2 Pro.

AnonD-961247, 19 Dec 2020Just wait for few years. And you will see effects of these ... moreI actually do resistance training (lift weights) and do hand grip exercises because too much mobile phone use makes users sedentary.
To complain about the Poco F2 Pro's excessive phone weight and the 'harm' the extra weight causes to a person when it's only 219grams is downright ridiculous.
Be thankful the extra weight helps improve and strengthen hand grip and hand muscle coordination. You'll be thankful for it when your 60 years old or older as strong grip and hand muscles prevent falls and fractures from frail bones and atrophied muscles.

Yes, it is heavy. Arms start hurting when being used for longer periods.
But 150g - that's only phones like Pixel 4a, iphone 12 mini, etc. ...
Most phones now are 180-200g, sadly...

I am an iPhone user and I have a great feeling about the coordination of hardware and software and I admire it but we have to be realistic. The iPhone 12 Pro Max, which has a screen size and dimensions almost the same size as the Poco F2 Pro, weighs more than that. Also, Samsung Note 20 Ultra is only 10 grams lighter than the Poco F2 Pro.
Lets not look at brands with prejudice.

AnonD-961247, 17 Dec 2020And who asked Xiaomi to give that Pop up camera and increas... moreBecause selfie camera holes are UGLY, UGLY, UGLY! Can I not stress it enough? The Xiaomi engineers made design compromises that eliminated that UGLY selfie camera hole while at the same time, not skimping on the cooling system or reducing the battery capacity, or putting a cheap, plastic body, which, frankly is a wise decision, at least until under display selfie cameras or lightweight, high capacity graphene batteries become feasible.
Besides, you're going to replace phones every two to four years anyway, so what 15-20 year health concern are you talking about just carrying and holding daily a measly 219gram weight? Doctors even advise people especially the elderly to not only do aerobic activities but resistance training (weight bearing activities) as well to retain bone density and muscle mass in old age, which are crucial in maintaining good bone density and good glucose control to help avoid or mitigate osteoporosis and diabetes.

AnonD-961247, 17 Dec 2020To be frank, that extra weight, or anything above 150 grams... moreAdverse effects after 15-20 years from holding a 219-gram phone daily? Seriously? You'll actually get more adverse effects from typing on a regular desktop computer keyboard daily or from using bluetooth earbuds and headphones daily for 15-20 years of use than from some purportedly dangerously 'heavy phone' that's lighter than the lightest 300gram iPad mini (2019).

It will be visible in 15-20 years only and not immediately. Even fittest and healthiest person will have very adverse effect of these weights. That I can assure you scientifically.

AnonD-961247, 17 Dec 2020Too Heavy. You will need Crane service to lift this on day ... moreThe Poco F2 Pro is heavy mainly because of the pop up camera mechanism which adds significant heft compared to other phones with similarly sized batteries (4700mAh) but with hole cutouts instead in the selfie camera(s).
Xiaomi did not reduce the Poco F2 Pro's battery capacity just to compensate for the heavy pop up camera weight even when it can during the design process. Personally, I think Xiaomi made the right design decision, at least for me.
An extra weight is something most healthy, physically fit people can live with and EASILY get used to and forget. Selfie camera holes on the other hand are something that's just super ugly. It ruins everything in an otherwise attractive phone and no matter how small a hole it seems to look, you can't unsee it because it wastes so much space since apps and other content can't go above the ugly selfie camera hole. Once you get to use a phone that's perfectly hole free, all screen display with thin bezels all around like the Poco F2 Pro, all other phones with holes and notches look downright ugly. Besides, the pop up will ensure you don't mistakenly sharing a live video feed of yourself during a Zoom meeting or other video conferences/online meetings and seminars.

Anonymous, 14 Dec 2020Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions. Is P... moreYou really don't need OIS unless your photography is mostly telephoto. Most social media snapshots are captured by regular wideangle cameras and occasionally, ultrawideangle, which don't have significant benefit as regards camera shake. In fact, when you use GCam with Night Sight, you can even shoot very low light photos hand held where a phone with OIS but not using GCam will end up a blurry mess.
If you're into telephoto however, there are Xiaomi phones that have the same powerful processor as the Poco F2 Pro, and have a telephoto with OIS as well. Even with OIS however, I strongly suggest buying a gimbal if you're also into 4K to 8K video. Optical stabilization just doesn't cut the shakiness and if you opt for the Optical + electronic stabilization, you may end up with smooth video but at the expense of heavy cropping and worse detail retention/resolution. I'd suggest Mi 10 ultra or K30 Pro Zoom if you're into telephoto. Both have zoom (5x/3x optical zoom respectively) and OIS while still having flagship processor. They're more expensive though and the selfie camera hole of the Mi 10 ultra or the China ROM on the K30 Pro Zoom may not be to your liking. If you're OK with a midrange to upper midrange processor, then you can get both telephoto and OIS in other Xiaomi/Oppo/Vivo phones at lower prices than the Poco F2 Pro.

Anonymous, 15 Dec 2020Dude you are weird..My iPhone 8 is about four years old, while we all know that the average lifespan of a smartphone is 5 years. You know, the Poco F2 Pro has a bigger AMOLED display, a better camera, a better battery, and a newer CPU. I do not deny the good build quality and good hardware quality of the iPhone 8, but does not 4 years of using a phone consume it? (In the country where I live, Apple does not provide good service, and the price of the Poco F2 Pro is about $ 100 more than my second-hand iPhone. I do not think it would be very unreasonable to convert the iPhone 8 to the Poco F2 Pro.) It is more concerned with its own financial gain than customer satisfaction ..! Strange prices and features offered by Android manufacturers two years ago, but Apple still has not changed much from three years ago. If this is not brand abuse and stinginess, then what is its name?
