Got an update V12.0.4.0 QJKMIXM for Security Patch to September and also some new camera updates..Anyone tried? Any noticeable difference in battery drainage?

Rakib, 28 Sep 2020Should i buy poco f2 pro or Oneplus 7t suggest me plz..Poco has better design (in my opinion), brighter notchless screen and litlle higher touch sampling, Snapdragon 865, better battery, better cooling system, better connectivity because of wifi 6 and 5g and headphone jack.
OnePlus has 90hz, better speakers and in my opinion little better os.

There's never been any suggestion anywhere that amoled screens have a faster response time than LCD screens. The benefits of amoled screens over ips or tft LCD screens is purely aesthetic. It does look better but I don't know where you dragged up that last bit of information about screen response. That's not correct.

You can turn those off in each of those apps, and you won't get them anymore.

Some built in Xiaomi apps (like File manager, Themes app) have occasional ads when you are connected online, but if you never use them, you don't see any ads at all in the Poco F2 Pro user interface. The ads you see are similar to those you see in the ad-sponsored free apps you download and install yourself from the Playstore.

Just got this for €350. Insane value for a phone with AMOLED+HDR, an 865 and futureproof comms (5G + Wi-Fi 6). Also no punch hole or notch. 👍
If I had to nag, I'd say no SD card slot and 60Hz. Other than that I don't miss a thing.

Jake , 23 Sep 2020I had been struggling to choose between ROG 3 and poco f2 p... moreThe 90hz, 120hz, 144hz for UI so far now is just UI trick, just like the 120hz/240hz TV that add frame to make the animation fast and smooth.
It is a UI trick that make you think it is fast, but in actual, it doesn't improve the speed.
One way to feel this kind of speed is using the Android '"Remove Animation" feature, that will give you almost similar effect of fast speed UI.
For actual gaming, many heavy game still struggle to run 60fps. No frame drop from gaming is much more important than having a 90hz/120hz/144hz screen. Those game that run perfectly at 60fps actually are smooth enough.
Of course, refresh rate and response time different, having an AMOLED screen that has faster response time than LCD is more important than having high refresh rate.

this phojne too good. maybe i stick with poco model forever until it reach its peak on year 3000.
