I need help & advice, from you all brothers.
I'm about to buy new smartphone, i don't care about refresh rate, i want a good camera, performance, battery life, cool design, bright screen, and of course long support for device, reliable.
Wich to choose Mi 10T Pro or POCO F2 Pro or wait for another just how i waited for Mi 10T Pro.
Somebody tell me i need all of your opinions, POCO F2 Pro .or. Mi 10T Pro?

Regarding the topic of high screen refresh rate again.
Only real life video content that is captured and playback at 60fps will look extremely smooth and look natural.
3D gaming content however, doesn't really run full 60fps all the time, even though the setting has set to run 60fps, and detail has set to high, and doesn't show as much detail as real life video footage.
Go explore yourself, those content that look smooth on 60hz display will look smooth on 120hz display, but the difference is very hard to see. Those that already struggle smooth on 60hz display won't run smooth on 120hz display.
These doesn't include the UI trick which use for 120hz display, the system add display frames to make the UI animation transition look faster, which in turn also use more battery to generate those frames.

sq2013, 28 Sep 2020That's not true. There's never been any suggestio... moreIt is the technology between these 2 displays type that directly affect the speed of display.
It is not talked much now as the technology of LCD is improved every year, but still the way LCD display still response slower than AMOLED, that is why people still see ghosting on a 120hz refresh rate LCD, while a 120hz AMOLED will not has these ghosting, due to much faster response rate.
Refresh rate and response time is not the same, probably I have out of topic, where Poco F2 Pro has only 60hz refresh rate.
Still, in general, for display, refresh rate is just one of the criteria. Higher refresh rate of course is better, because the display smooth out the motion, which is so fast until our brain think that that motion is smooth, but in real world usage, 60hz actually is smooth enough, and most video content is still based on 24hz, 50hz, and 60hz, and many 3D games actually struggle to run at 60fps at full detail.
This overall means that 120hz or 144hz is useless if the processor is not powerful enough, then also the video content is not 120hz.
In a nutshell, if certain content doesn't look smooth on 60hz display, then it won't look smooth on 90hz,120hz or 144hz display either. Most online video content available are all produced at 24hz or 30hz (even downscale to stream at this rate) to let the content has the film feel (to reduce stream size), or else it will be smooth like watching soap opera (or sports content).
All in all, having high refresh rate screen doesn't means all your content will look smooth on the screen. It is a good to have features, but is not magically make everything run at that high refresh rate.
Better display quality, such as having AMOLED screen is more important than having high refresh rate screen.

Rakib, 28 Sep 2020Should i buy poco f2 pro or Oneplus 7t suggest me plz..Poco has better design (in my opinion), brighter notchless screen and litlle higher touch sampling, Snapdragon 865, better battery, better cooling system, better connectivity because of wifi 6 and 5g and headphone jack.
OnePlus has 90hz, better speakers and in my opinion little better os.

AnoM, 26 Sep 2020The 90hz, 120hz, 144hz for UI so far now is just UI trick, ... moreThat's not true. There's never been any suggestion anywhere that amoled screens have a faster response time than LCD screens. The benefits of amoled screens over ips or tft LCD screens is purely aesthetic. It does look better but I don't know where you dragged up that last bit of information about screen response. That's not correct.

You can turn those off in each of those apps, and you won't get them anymore.
