I'm using this phone for 3 days now and absolutely love it. I had an Asus Max Pro M1, which was a great mid-range phone 2 years ago, but it got obsolete and I never liked the camera and some other minor things.
So far this Poco is great! :)

Pt7, 22 Sep 2020Should I buy poco f2 pro at 399$ (6gb) Or wait for mi 10tIf you want a punch hole free screen, only Poco F2 Pro will do for now as it has no equal. Otherwise, there's plenty to choose from right now within Xiaomi and from other brands, so you don't really need to wait. You can choose one punch hole to two punch hole phones or you can have flipper selfie cameras. Or you can wait next year for the under display selfie camera equipped Xiaomi phones.

I am experiencing crashes in the UI its annoyi... moreI don't have problems on mine but I did a factory reset after the update because from my experience with many other brands, Lenovo, Huawei, Samsung, LG and even Asus (Google's Nexus 7), updates, especially huge ones can bring bugs with them and a clean start is always best even if you don't notice bugs at all after the update.

In fact, it actually helps unburden the processor making it run faster. Your complaint of lagginess is more likely a placebo effect: the power of suggestion, so to speak. The Asus ROG 3 costs a whopping 50% higher than the Poco F2 Pro, therefore, your mind was preconditioned to conclude the Poco F2 Pro must be laggy even if you were actually having a similar or even better gaming experience.

I had been struggling to choose between ROG 3 and poco f2 pro because poco is more economic with similar soc and a good battery life, but in the end i have chosen ROG3 cause the poco phone camera is in the way when i'm gaming, the 6.67 inch bezel less display for the pocophone actually looks smaller without the bezel and i have realize how important that bezel is for a gamer to prevent miss touch. I thought the cost for the poco would be 60hz refresh rate but i found that i can't go back below 90hz cause it is laggy for 60hz. Due to PUBG having 90fps right now, i would not go for anything below 90hz. But i respect poco for its value in price.

Stena, 17 Sep 2020Does anyone have a problem in the sense that during the con... moreThe Poco F2 Pro has an optical underdisplay fingerprint scanner like most other phones. It means the underdisplay scanner has to SHINE a BRIGHT LIGHT on your fingertip being scanned for it to be able to match it with one you stored in the phone.

Being OPTICAL in nature, strong ambient lighting and non reflective dry fingertips can affect the fingerprint authentication/read out process.
If you have fingerprint authentication problems, just make your fingertips more oily (less dry) by wiping the fingertip to be scanned against an oily part of your face, ears, head or body. It works everytime. Traditional capacitive fingerprint scanners (rear mounted or side mounted) are actually more reliable and consistent than these optical underdisplay fingerprint scanners. Traditional capacitive scanners are not affected by dry, flaky fingertips, or by strong ambient lighting (sunlight) since the readout process is not optical.

I bought this phone yesterday, Battery backup good, display good but not good like x2 pro, speaker good. Camera better than realme x2 pro, quite havey phone, Very fast but not like realme x 2 pro, If any one used x2 pro he will catch the difference But overall good phone. Never heat.
