Samleung2, 01 Sep 2020Hi guys, I need some advice for an Affordable Gaming (sort ... moreAny of those will do for casual gaming but if you prefer to game at the highest graphics settings, the Poco F2 Pro (SD 865)will perform better followed by the Realme X3 (SD 855) and then the rest. You'll appreciate the punch hole free screen on the Poco F2 Pro for a more immersive gaming and as a bonus, it costs much less than the Realme X3.
If you prefer to spend less, you may look at the Redmi K30 5G or the
Xiaomi 10 Lite 5G. Both have snapdragon 765G which, while less powerful than either SD 865 and SD 855, are still good enough for most gaming needs.

Hi guys, I need some advice for an Affordable Gaming (sort of) phone.
Looking for a mid-range smartphone that I can sometimes play game on (PubG, MBLL, Hayday), for normal use, good battery and good performance/chipset. Hopefully won't overheating too easy.
Here are some Affordable Phones I have researched:
1/ Redmi K30 5G
2/ Xiaomi 10 Lite 5G
3/ Poco F2 Pro
4/ Realme 6
5/ Realme SuperZoom X3
PLEASE help me choose which one would suit me best & feel free to recommend others ranges as well. Thank you heaps!!!

The biggest disappointment is the fact 5G doesn't work if second SIM is enabled. It's simply either second SIM active or 5G - no site warns about that!
Mine received update to MIUI 12 same day I unpacked the phone. Overall feeling is great, but I hate big button in the middle clearing all notifications.

Yonkouandy, 31 Aug 2020I'm looking to either get Poco f2 pro or xiaomi mi 10 ... moreNot much. You'll actually gain a gorgeous screen that doesn't have a punch hole and save some serious cash.
And if you install ported GCam with Night Sight for the Poco F2 Pro, you'll actually have better camera output than the Mi 10 with its default camera app.

Anonymous, 30 Aug 202090Hz doesn't contribute anything to future proofing. ... moreThe only phone that comes close to having all those 5 essential things is the Nokia 8.3 5G. You may want to buy it instead if it is available in your area: https://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_8_3_5g-10142.php

TerrFX, 29 Aug 2020im looking to buy a phone in this price range and i really ... more90Hz doesn't contribute anything to future proofing.
If you want future proofing and longevity, you're going to have to focus on 5 essential things - IPS displays, removable battery or large battery capacity (if not removable), expandable storage (micro sd), extended software update support, and fast enough processor (at least upper midrange with 5G capability and min. 4K/60fps recording capability). I'm not sure you'll find a phone that covers all 5 so you'll have to give up some of those mentioned essentials. Again, 90Hz display is absolutely not needed for future proofing and may even adversely affect battery and display longevity.

TerrFX, 29 Aug 2020im looking to buy a phone in this price range and i really ... moreOleds are promising I would say, and it makes your screen looks brighter and better than ips especially for your gaming experience or even watching movies or videos ( poco f2 pro's full screen display is also a plus so no disturbances when playing or watching) I would say you can keep your amoled screen if you dont always abuse the phone up to its max brightness.
Realme's x3 pro zoom isnt also 5G ready but it can also be a good buy if you don't use cellular data and ips is already good for you. But if i were to choose from realme s midrange devices, I would go with the x2 pro which is also slightly cheaper than the x3 pro zoom
