Anonymous, 30 Aug 202090Hz doesn't contribute anything to future proofing. ... moreThe only phone that comes close to having all those 5 essential things is the Nokia 8.3 5G. You may want to buy it instead if it is available in your area: https://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_8_3_5g-10142.php

TerrFX, 29 Aug 2020im looking to buy a phone in this price range and i really ... more90Hz doesn't contribute anything to future proofing.

If you want future proofing and longevity, you're going to have to focus on 5 essential things - IPS displays, removable battery or large battery capacity (if not removable), expandable storage (micro sd), extended software update support, and fast enough processor (at least upper midrange with 5G capability and min. 4K/60fps recording capability). I'm not sure you'll find a phone that covers all 5 so you'll have to give up some of those mentioned essentials. Again, 90Hz display is absolutely not needed for future proofing and may even adversely affect battery and display longevity.

TerrFX, 29 Aug 2020im looking to buy a phone in this price range and i really ... moreOleds are promising I would say, and it makes your screen looks brighter and better than ips especially for your gaming experience or even watching movies or videos ( poco f2 pro's full screen display is also a plus so no disturbances when playing or watching) I would say you can keep your amoled screen if you dont always abuse the phone up to its max brightness.

Realme's x3 pro zoom isnt also 5G ready but it can also be a good buy if you don't use cellular data and ips is already good for you. But if i were to choose from realme s midrange devices, I would go with the x2 pro which is also slightly cheaper than the x3 pro zoom

im looking to buy a phone in this price range and i really need one with great performance (preferrably sd 865 or 855+) and a 90hz display since I do relatively heavy gaming. I would buy this phone but it doesn't have a 90 hz refresh rate, I know that most games doesn't really support this but its for future proofing and also it seems nicer when scrolling. Im also quite skeptical towards AMOLED or OLED displays in general having burn ins in less than a year or in just 1-2 years, and I really need someone who has one to tell me if It does have burn-in problems and where should i expect to get one or when they started experiencing it. I wanted to buy Realme's X3 superzoom over this because it had an LCD screen and high refresh rate even though its performance isnt as good as this phone. Does anyone have any suggestions? Any display type is welcomed, but preferably IPS based ones with 90hz.

The only other phones similar to the Poco F2 Pro are the China Redmi K30 Pro and Redmi K30 zoom. Unscrupulous sellers are selling those China phones with tampered software to pre-install Google apps which are forbidden in China. If you buy a Poco F2 Pro, it should support the following network bands (source: gsmarena.com):

Try a factory reset. If it doesn't solve the problem, ask for a refund and buy the unit from other, more reputable sources. It's a great phone with a great battery life. It's not perfect but you won't find any other phone offering a perfect 6.7" or bigger display WITHOUT ANY punch hole or notches, while still having a huge 4700mAh hr battery and top of the line snapdragon 865 processor.

Guys, I recently got my Poco F2 Pro from AliExpress and I'm having some problems. My battery is pretty bad, I haven't even updated it to MIUI12. On Antutu, I'm getting 493000 whereas others get about 570000. What could be the problem?

Lol, so basically, the other person on the call can still record, since we can't know which device he uses... and not to mention Google, Amazon, Chinese apps, etc. ... all big companies can record, only the user can't (ask yourself how for example google "voice to type" understands your local language so well - I can speak in dialect using slang, and it still gets 90 percent of words right).

BTW, I still have a 15y old Sony Ericsson phone, capable of call recording.
