There should be a slight snap when the two sims are placed back to back in the SIM tray. If you are using 5G, only one SIM is possible but if you set the network to 4G both SIMs are active and usable. If you are having dual SIM problems only after MIUI 12 update, then a full factory reset may solve it. If even a factory reset doesn't fix it, the SIM may be the problem (defective or loose). Have your phone replaced or ask for a refund if all of the suggestions above (SIM replacement, proper SIM mounting, full factory reset) don't work.

Iveky, 25 Jul 2020does Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro handle two sims without problems? ... moreI'm terribly disappointed with MIUI 12. The recent update doesn't allow to use dual sim for banking transactions. Insert sim error is received while you can still call and receive using the sim. Xiaomi may be quick with their updates but why releasing such terrible updates and put the users on all sorts of problems. Now i know they will never hear to us and fix it. Anyone using f2 pro don't upgrade to miui12 if you are using dial sims for banking transactions.

Iveky, 25 Jul 2020does Xiaomi Poco F2 Pro handle two sims without problems?
... moreYes, certainly. I'd never buy a phone without dual SIM because the first SIM I use exclusively for mobile data (permanently on LTE only for the fastest speeds while on dual SIM) , and the second SIM for calls and text.
Please note though that when you want a 5G connection, you'll only be able to use one SIM. The other SIM is disabled automatically (the non-5G one).

Nailed it. I have been using it for past one week. Having owned F1 for close to 2 years, I can feel the upgrade in F2 pro. With AOD, continuous usage still I'm able to get a day of charge which is incredible. I haven't seen any low output through headphones, some review here have been completely lies. Doubt they really own F2 pro!! Yes I do accept there are issues on this phone, fingerprint scan is 80-90% successful which I can understand though. Software is buggy, decision to have stock dialer and contacts looks silly (have been using F1's dialer and contact app). Wallpaper, themes issue in MIUI11. These are all software issues which if XIAOMI wants to fix, they can but they hardly hear to it - that is the only concern to me. Overall I'm a very happy user of POCO F2 Pro. I wish MIUI gets a fix sometime next quarter at least.

Anonymous, 23 Jul 2020I have red all the comments here and also on youtube and ot... moreThe issues you see or read about this phone are actually more about personal preferences and annoyances rather than real phone reliability/durability or performance issues. They're typical of flagship phones where users, because of paying for a higher price, just want things to be to their 100% liking/preference. Some don't like the price, some don't like MIUI's eccentricities, don't like this or that or just don't know how to solve and troubleshoot minor annoyances but it doesn't mean that the phone has serious issues that make it unusable, horrible, unreliable, problematic or a waste of money. It's an excellent phone, great value for the money, but it certainly isn't perfect because even flagship phones from other brands costing twice do have minor issues and annoyances as well.
The few real issues mentioned here come from owners who bought defective phones from sellers. All the rest are from non-phone owners who just like to sourgrape because they like the phone but find the price too high or they want something (OIS, IP68 rating, 120Hz screen, wireless charging) for the same price, which is totally unrealistic considering the cost of snapdragon 865 processor alone and the uninterrupted HDR10+ display with no notches and punch holes and with a costly pop up camera in a metal build can't possibly bring the price lower.

Sikandar khalol, 23 Jul 2020Nothing happens bro even i turn off my device then it'... moreCharging takes longer if the battery is still warm especially right after heavy gaming. 90 minutes charging time is still within normal but you should avoid getting the battery to ALWAYS go below 20% before charging if you want the battery to last longer. Charging only after the battery has gone 0% or 5% is not good for battery longevity.

rubyk, 23 Jul 2020Is it ok to Charge while playing? Yes you can always charge while playing or play while charging. But take note of the battery temperature. Heat is a battery's biggest enemy. If you keep the battery cool, it will last longer. If you keep on stressing the battery, it will wear faster.

I'm looking for an upgrade maybe this poco f2 pro this phone is a bang for a buck on paper but I'm bit hesitant maybe I'll just wait for next year's flagship snapdragon 875 or mediatek's flagship
