After getting the 8/256GB variant for around 2 months this will be the cons of the phone:-
- I played games like KOF Allstars, and there is heavy lag in the game whenever attacking and tagging, and for such processor and GPU I'm very surprised with such gaming experience. That surprises me a lot as reviewers like Frankietech and others keep claiming there is zero lag with such powerful processor and GPU but here I am playing a mid tier game that lags most of the time.
- Touch sensitivity was stated as 360hz, but during lag you are likely not able to input your moves by tapping the screen most of the times. My SD660 Mi Note 3 has better touch response than that although it occasionally lags too. Such touch input delay is totally unacceptable for a phone of that hardware, and my normal Poco X3 NFC do not have issues as stated above.
- MIUI Camera optimization is really bad. The phone takes decent photos in good lighting but that applies only on target at a distance away. If your target is close (not Macro close but around 1/2 to 1 feet away the focus is terrible. I work in the construction industry where I always need to take photos of measuring tape at close distance and the camera always fail to focus on the numbers (even if I target tap it), making it blurry and useless. Also at darker areas shots get blurry even though there are still lights around. I compared the photos side by side with my 3 year Mi Note 3 and was surprise that the 12mp camera outperforms Poco F3's 48mp camera. GCAM do not has this problem but what's the point? Its just simple algorithm issue that I suspect Xiaomi refuse to handle to protect the sales of their other higher priced phones.
In the end I would say at that price point do not expect proper software optimization that fully complement its hardware. The Poco F3 is indeed a monster phone but it was utterly destroyed by the software itself.

bcuz in same price segment u have Mi 10T with ips 144hz
that record
8k@ 30fps .... 4k@ 60fps
in this price segment u also have Mi 11 lite 5g
slim body....lightweight....no powerful chipset as sd865 / sd870
so u have to choose....u cant have everything in one package.
maybe in future when all of them they Reached the desired sale...ur f3 will give even 8k record...right now it not possible

zZ, 17 Jun 2021Did you take off the pre applied protector? Its a thin shee... moreIf its is a very tiny dot. If I remember correctly when I tried to replace with Samsung last time they won't allowed me to. I think most companies won't allow 1 dead pixel.

omnitex, 16 Jun 2021I might advise to check the storage permissions of your ins... moreI see, but i did check out all the apps permission setting already. Yet to know what is the cause of it. Strange is these files only carry 3byte size and the audio cant be play either.
I'm going to try factory resetting my phone, hope it fixed this issue. If it still occur I guess is normal. Anywhere, thanks for the info.

I've had my issues with my F3 over the last month, but battery life hasn't really been one of them. Even with 120 Hrz and the always-on display enabled.
Those suffering from bad battery performance should check if any applications may have compatibility bugs that are causing them to consume more power.
I once had a version of Whatsapp that drained my Poco F1 battery to the point that I had to charge it 3 times a day and it also caused the phone to heat up.
Once a new version was released, everything went back to normal (took Zuckerberg's team about a month of charging hell to fix it).
I can also say that it feels as if the haptics were also improved in the 12.5 Miui release on my F3.
I still miss the headphone Jack though and the camera still needs work. I still think the images from my old F1 were often better. I find the shots on my F3 to be too contrasty to the point of losing too much detail in the shadows, and the subject separation algorithm is easily fooled.
Still can't understand why my old F1 does 4K@60 FPS and my new F3 can't, but whatever.
Does anyone know which aspect ratio in the camera would best exploit the camera sensor for the highest possible quality?
The default "full" setting seems to be too wide since the 12.5 update and mimics the screen aspect ratio instead of the camera sensor's aspect ratio - unless it's also really wide.

So on the Battery life champions page, it is written that the Poco F3 has a Snapdragon 888 but here on the actual specifications page, it is written that it only has a Snapdragon 870. So which one should I believe? It is so confusing. Please fix this issue.

However, if the dot is on the glass, you should try and get it replaced under warranty if possible. Why should there be any flaw when you have paid for the new phone? Plus the size of the dot might expand over time

Love the phone got mine yesterday so far so good the phone is a beast of its kind but i wish xiomi should have done somthing about the batery drain above all i give it a 7/10 rating

My phone is 1 tiny black dot. Either shipping dmg or something stuck there. I thought I didn't clean properly when first stick tempered glass now I replace that tempered glass again clean properly it's still there. Warranty won't fix such minor issue right? It's size of pen dot.

Guys i really need some help.
My Poco F3 phone have a few files names the same and size is same too randomly popping up in my device folder. Is under Music file. The file name is "tone.mp3". It can be deleted but after awhile a day or 2, it will re-appear again :( pls help.
I'm just curious is this file a default system file or a malware.
