If the screen lights up during a call then remove the phone from your ear and twist it left and right a couple of times and then the proximity sensor seems to work and the screen goes dark again.

Anonymous, 25 Jun 2021Is it really borderline unusable cuz I'm thinking abou... moreDepends on the way you have it. Mine is quite bad (is almost impossible to not see it).
Because I have it on the upper part of the display (about 30%), then the middle part of the display is normal (about 50%) and the last part of the display has the green tint again (about 20%).
So, when I scroll on low brightness levels and on black background (which is majority of times because I use dark mode to save battery), it's really annoying. I see the upper information greenish, then the middle information ok.
There is somehow a fix to this. You could use light mode and light themes from Xiaomi. But then the battery depletes quite fast from my personal experience. Or not use the phone during the evening/night, lol.
If you want my honest advice, don't buy this phone. Unless you absolutely want a phone just for gaming at cheap price (but even here be careful, my phone reaches 43 degrease in gaming or video calls; maybe even more, but I stopped gaming after that).

As to green tint issues. It's complicated and I probably know the reason. Devil is in good intentions and here is to save some consumer eyes. I read lot about screen PWM and have sensitive eyes to AMOLED flickering. From most of the phones with AMOLED screen (Samsungs) my eyes hurt after couple minutes. This problem is calling sensitivity to PWM screen flickering and about 10% of people having this fatigue (mostly not recognized). Using my F3 my eyes are OK. Why? Just because with reviews from YouTube reviews in Russia they also measure screen flickering caused by PWM. This F3 screen have very low flickering and flicker on much higher frequency (good for eyes) then Samsung's. The only reason for low screen flickering is that some DC Dimming is already presented in the factory SW, not mentioned by Xiaomi. The problem what DC Dimming is producing on your screen is the color shifting - viola this is our Green tint on some lightning levels. To check my theory please see the Notebookcheck.net review of F3. Mentioning there have to be some form of DC Dimming present. So the solution will probably be just add DC Dimming setting - off button.

There are so many bugs and minor errors in MIUI 12.5 that it is annoying!
The camera is not the best.
I deeply regret buying this!

i am using Bluetooth wireless hands free and earbuds on poco f3 , it's sound is not clear as compared to my old oppo f11 pro..
i connected to both devices at same time to compare and poco provides very average, loudy and bass sound and not clear sound, where oppo provides very clear and detailed sound with separate base, on the same wireless hands free and earbuds

Chris, 24 Jun 2021I bought this phone only to realize it has bad green tint o... moreWelcome to the club. My mi 10t pro has this issue as well. Uneven screen brightness. I have used redmi 4x, redmi note 8 pro, mi 10 lite and recently using mi 10t pro and all of them, except mi 10 lite, have uneven screen brightness. At first I thought maybe it's just bad luck but now it's clear to me that xiaomi uses the worst displays out there to cut cost and has the worst quality control of any mobile company.

Chris, 24 Jun 2021I bought this phone only to realize it has bad green tint o... moreExactly this. And also heating issues (but this is a problem with all SD870 and SD888 phones from this year).
Sadly, Xiaomi didn't correct them even in MiUi 12.5. Is sad actually, because the phone is smooth and very powerful for its price.
Also, this could be a problem when selling the phone. Many people already know about the issues of this model and in no way they want to buy it. I had the phone for selling for a short while and people wouldn't come close to it. Even the second hand stores in my country don't accept this model. I am afraid I will give this Poco F3 for free. Lol.
For me it is certainly my last Poco phone. At least in the next 2-3 years. No matter what prices and features they will have.

MkRahi, 24 Jun 2021Poco F3 or Galaxy A52?F3 easily. The flagship processor is a super advantage. If you don't mind a mid-range one and camera performance is your priority, go with the A52(The 5G version).

Its been two days since I bought the F3 and updated to miui 12.5. It seems like that the battery drains fast while playing pubg. With smooth extreme settings in pubg, I noticed 20% battery charge drop in 1 hr play of pubg. Is it okay or my battery is draining fast? What is your experience with the battery so far. I have also noticed fast battery drain with refresh rate set to 120 hz.

I bought this phone only to realize it has bad green tint on low brightness and brightness uniformity issues on the display. I wonder if the reviewers are getting paid by xiaomi because i still haven't seen a review online that addresses the matter. The problem is huge, almost 9/10 Poco F3s have this issue, because they got cheap bad quality displays. I expected more from GSMarena.

Any news regarding green tint screen issue? Seems like the F3 is plagued by it, Xiaomi India acknowledged it, but no news on any fix for it, considering the K40/F3/Mi11x all should have the same problems they should try to fix this, right?
