I have used this phone for almost 10 days now. Not a long time to write a review but still I would like to share my opinion.
The build quality is solid, even though the frames are plastic, it does not feel cheap. It is comparable to metal frame that are painted these days in some phones. Still not as solid as metal frame that feels really nice in hand.
Screen is great, amoled and 120hz means great experience but know that it has green tint issue in grey background in low brightness. I was bothered by it 1st day of usage at night(cause low brightness at night) and thought maybe should have bought a samsung device without such flaws but I am really not bothered by it now. Its only for grey to darkish back ground(black is seen black as the screen doesnot light up for black colors)
Performance is top notch. No lags, buttery smooth. Flagship performance,
i had doubt how miui would perform,I absolutely hate miui because i had used note 7 pro before and it was extremely buggy but since f3 has Flagship processor no problem in any task. But still I noticed one time that one part of the screen didnt reponse when i swiped to go back. I rebooted the device and it was fine, must be laggy miui. I would say processor wins over miui and it wins with great margin.
Another problem people are facing is proximity sensor. I haven't seen the proximity sensor in this device that is visible in other phones. I think it lacks traditional proximity sensor. So I installed sensor test app to check if it works by trying to cover the earpiece. Proximity sensor didnt work how it works in other phones. When it was lying horizontal if you cover any part of the phone nothing is detected but when you are holding it vertically(ir blaster pointing sky) if you cover the top part i.e around ir blaster region and ear piece) object is detected. Couldnt pinpoint exact location, i guess there is none. I heard it has ultrasonic sensors, must require bigger object to detect but whatever they have used works fine for calling, it detects and turns off. But still skipping such important sensor was not a wise decision. So dont slap your phone on your cheek make a slight angle so that only earpiece touches your ear and if you are calling with phone laying flat on the ground use loudspeaker or maybe buy Bluetooth headset.
This phone is not perfect. It has flaws that could have been prevented by xiaomi by making some wise decision.
I bought this phone knowing these issues, hoping mine device would be free of it but it wasnt. But I dont regret buying this phone, with my time with this phone I absolutely love it, I knew why I wanted it for good screen, great processor and mainly its price. Great bang for the buck device.

The virtual proximity sensor in F3 and Note 10 is very annoying so if you make a lot of phone calls I suggest looking for another phone.
Miui 12.5 update didn't fix P sensor problem.

Anonymous, 11 Jun 2021What's so good with the other phones firmware to want ... moreThe problem with MiUi 12.5 is that everybody was talking about it like is some kind of miracle.
The reason I, and maybe other Poco F3 users are waiting for the MiUi 12.5 update, is that hopefully they will correct the green tint and poor colour calibration issues.
Even the fact that Poco is late with implementing MiUi 12.5 update on this particular model, gives you an idea that this was a rushed model to the market with many side problems. Powerful true, but poor quality.
Even the Poco X3 Pro (an inferior model) received MiUi 12.5 update globally.

Hi. Just got my phone here in Pakistan. I just received a single update to 12.0.3 and none after that. Is it the latest software update ? If yes than wtf, my friend's redmi note 10 pro has been updated to 12.5. 😃🤷

Irena, 09 Jun 2021Hey guys, I watched so many reviews and can't decide, ... moreI have both X3 NFC and F3 and I played with Note 10 for a couple of days, I highly suggest F3 over Note 10 Pro
Some points after I used the 3 phones:
- X3 and Note 10 in my test have identical performance and battery life, but F3 is smoking fast and blows both out of the water.
- F3 screen is almost similar to Note 10 both are good but F3 can get brighter.
- F3 and Note 10 sides are made of plastic but the F3 is much better and feels more premium, the Note 10 feels very cheap compared to F3 and X3.
- X3 NFC has a better speaker (better bass and mids), the F3 and Note 10 have very flat sound but F3 is the loudest one and gets distorted at max volume, unlike X3.
- With GCam, X3 is the best for both front and back cameras followed closely by F3 and Note 10 is bad at night despite has the largest sensor!
- F3 is charging much faster than the other 2, like from 0 to 90% in 45 minutes.
- F3 fingerprint is one of the fastest ones I ever tested on any phone.
- Note 10 has a very old and week vibrator, I turned it off after 30 seconds, while X3 has a nice one, the F3 haptic feed is a flagship level.
- The virtual proximity sensor in F3 and Note 10 is very annoying so if you make a lot of phone calls I suggest looking for another phone.

I am not recommending this when it comes to heavy games. I saw a comment which is very similar to me. i am playing mobile legends bang bang yesterday and it is very terrible I can't tap the skills or sometimes the movement doesn't interact. i was hoping that this is the new monster but i am very disappointed.

It's the best phone i ever had. Yes it has some software issues, but those will be ironed out with future updates. You have a solid hardware base and everything else will mature over time, with updates. With the 12.5 update the phone is super smooth and snappy. You can switch between apps faster than you can blink. The screen is a pleasure to look at, the sound quality is stellar, photos are decent, battery is a beast, what else do you want for this price point? For me it's money well spent.

Update from 12.0.3 version to V12.5.1.0.RKHMIXM (Global)
This seems to fix screen dim issue and maybe battery life
Download here:
https://en.gizchina.it/2021/06/miui-12-5-global-eea-stabile-xiaomi-redmi-download/
Scroll down to Poco F3 section
V12.5.1.0.RKHMIXM (Global), rename to update.zip and put on root of internal storage
Flash it by go to About > Miui version > tab it 4-5 time for full option > then after can select file for update > update.zip on root of internal storage

Ahmed, 09 Jun 2021Yes, GCam will enhance the quality but the 8MP ultrawide is... moreI agree with you but i think the hide some features for another flagships cuz in that price you get a lot more.
I use before this phone a galaxy note 10 plus!
But this phone for this price(280€) in my place its is extremely good with the gcam for a person who don shoot 100 photos a day i think this poco f3 its the best phone to buy for the money!
Screen quality was a bit beter in note 10 plus but with 120 hz refresh rate it is night and day differen..

Hey guys, I watched so many reviews and can't decide, please help! Should I go for the Redmi Note 10 Pro, or for the Poco F3...I am not a gamer, but surely a heavy user! I have the Poco X3 NFC right now, but it has gotten super slow and it's lagging like hell! Thanks!

This phone is pretty special. Its a pity that in my country there are no Poco phones. Otherwise I would've bought this the second it landed in stores. Can someone refer me to a similarly specced and priced phone like this.
