Is there any brightness related issue in the outdoor condition/under sunlight with Xiaomi Poco F3??
In the Indian version of the Poco F3 known as Mi 11x brightness gets down & the display becomes hard to see in the outdoor.
Am concerned about the outdoor visibility on the Poco F3.
Is it clear enough in the outdoor??
Thanks in advanced.

Anonymous, 08 May 20215G is still a gimmick now. I have the Poco F3 with 5G suppo... moreMy country even worse, 4G is still bad, so no need talk about 5G, it has been in talk since 2017 but never ever implemented. Even the 4G+ signal in my country is slow.
So, typically we use 4G+ for those non-critical, low bandwidth usage only.
Those who enjoy good and reliable internet speed is from fibre WiFi, which already has 1Gbps speed.

Anonymous, 06 May 2021Sorry but the RealMe GT Neo is now the new King of Midrange... moreI don't know which fairy tail land you're living in but majority of other regions don't have a Global Version of the Realme Neo GT with a lower price. It's price is a little higher than the Poco F3 in the standard market. Poco F3 6GB RAM Global is at $335 base price while Neo GT 6GB RAM CN ROM is at $375 base price. That 12GB Neo CN ROM costs $502 which is the same price range as the base model of the Redmi K40 Pro which has the Snapdragon 888. I don't recommend CN ROMs unless you're a tech pro or in China.

So right now the oneplus 8t is at around 500 euro. It has similar stuff to the poco F3 but the 65 W charger, better camara and of course the oxygen OS software. Would you say its worth the extra money? I am looking for something wich can hold its own for around 3 years and I´m not quite sure if POCO has that kind of durability or even a reliable software. Help.

I have a weird question, but considering the reviews, I'll ask it anyway.
Anyone here upgrade from a Poco F1 to this - and if so, would the camera in this be a step up from the one in the F1, on a par, or (shudder) somehow worse?
I know that my old F1 does 4K@60FPS video for example and this won't for some reason.
Also the selfie cam on the F1 has a wider aperture and the same 20 MP.
How are the stills though, and how is the video quality generally on the F3?

AnoM, 08 May 2021It is a give and take, please check the pricing again.
5G ... more5G is still a gimmick now. I have the Poco F3 with 5G support, but I have more like 4G+ speeds where I live.
And I live in European country. I am guessing other areas like Africa or South America are even more behind with this technology.
And let's be honest, who buys a phone now, to use 5G in 2-3 years, lol.
I just bought it because I like the SD870, I don't care about the 5G. At least not now.

Anonymous, 08 May 2021Those phones are not future-proof. They don't have 5g.It is a give and take, please check the pricing again.
5G still long way to go, and 5G is still in developing, more standard will coming out in the future, soon you will say the 5G smartphone you buy now has no future, simply cannot catch up with the technology.
So, 5G is not the main reason to buy smartphone. WiFi with fibre connection is far more reliable than 5G.

Yes, let's all come and blame Poco F3 is not good.
IPhone 12 Pro Max, Samsung S21 Ultra, Xiaomi Mi11 Ultra, OPPO Find X3 Pro all are so much better, because these are expensive. Yes, you like the unfairness. Please continue with your unfairness, because you like it, and these company don't give a shit about you.

So you're saying that Xiaomi is only a Honda and you are considering RealMe as a Luxury Brand for phones like a BMW? You must be out of your mind. You are the only one sayin' the competition is unfair. I'm sorry but that's the nature of it really ever since. All the companies must care about is performance, being the best no matter how "unfair" the competition is. Did they ever complain about it? And you the customer, all you need to care about is seeing and picking the best and what's right for you. Even tho it may seem unfair to them, its okay. They understand that you are just doing your thing as the buyer.

I've ordered mine on 4th April 21 during Flash sales for about 364.50 USD with free shipping. I have to wait about three weeks, and yes it was worth it. This phone just phenomenal for the asking price. For me the only drawbacks is the MIUI, ship out with ver. 12.0.2/3, don't know when will get OTA for 12.5 ver. The current version even with stable ver., felt unstable. Still have issue with item like Super Wallpaper which by the way gorgeous, conflicted with the AOD.
Performance wise, off the chart. It delivers all your needs flawlessly. For built quality you need to experience it by yourself. Mine is midnight black, and it is superb. Yes this color is super fingerprint magnet, but no need to worry if you use case. I use the camera occasionally and the picture quality for me is good for midrange phone. The screen as spec sheet says to have 1300nits max, I just don't feel it is. Under bright sunlight, with max brightness setting, I just can see the screen, still can use the phone, but I do not think it achieve that 1300nits. Overall I would say if MIUI with Poco launcher updated faster to 12.5 or even to 13 version, this phone would be just superb to have.
So now I noticed GSM change the phone to have IP53 rating, is that official? If so then I am lucky I guess. Can anyone confirm this

MonTi, 07 May 2021I am planning to buy either one plus 8T OR Poco F3, what wa... moreI had the One Plus 8T for about 1 week. But it was an unsealed product, I paid less money for it. Sadly, I had problems with the battery on it. Maximum 5h of screen on time. I had even 4.5h. I return it and get my money back.
But as I said, I think I just got a faulty device.
Other than that the phone was great in every aspect. Better than the Poco F3 that I own now. But the One Plus 8T is also twice as expensive. Is it worth that much money? Imo, no. Unless you absolutely like One Plus phones and software.

Anonymous, 08 May 2021The GT Neo also offers a bigger 12GB RAM, 64MP Main Camera ... moreMaybe your region, Realme sell cheaper.
But in my region, Realme X7 Pro sold more expensive than F3, then Realme 8 Pro sold the same price as F3.
So, I don't know the price you compare is grey import or official price.
I could expect when Realme GT Neo when sold in my country, would be more expensive than Realme X7 Pro, or at least similar in price. Then, I don't trust Mediatek Dimensity chip, simply they are easier overheat.

Much cheaper in price, yet better specs, camera, and speaker, got headphone jack, Micro SD slot.
Support wise... Samsung low end smartphone's support is bad, worse than Redmi.
Or..... I would settle with Poco X3 Pro, left out the AMOLED screen.

This smartphone already break the competition, no other smartphone at this price have these specs. I am just referring to those global version, those official unit.
The closest I can see a competitor is Realme X7 Pro, but that phone is sold more expensive, then Realme 8 Pro sold around the same price as this F3.
Your so called competitive doesn't factor in the price point.
So, you continue with your unfair competition, continue to complain why a Honda is not a BMW.
