    HyperOS update 1.0.5.0 just released with February 2024 security patch, the update is 1.2GB

    I am currently testing it, for now it fixed the throttle issues in a game that im playing (Critical Ops), keeping a solid 120fps instead of throttling it down to 90fps.

      I dont think Xiaomi will enter American market cause of what America did to Huawei and all the defame the brand got. They will lose American market and then also lose European market if they get defamed like Huawei did.

And it might also have all of your required bands!

          I get a new mid-range phone every year. Bought the F5 4 months ago. However, now im seeing the Thinkphone on sale for $395 on Amazon. Thinking about selling the F5 and switching. Will i be disappointed? Im worried ill miss my F5. This thing is near perfect. Love the headphone jack. HyperOS is an upgrade. Beautiful screen and long battery. Only thing bad about the F5 in America is the reception. I have T-Mobile and depending on where i am the phone gets really bad service. Thinkphone carries every band.

                    its smooth and fast with usable cameras and a great display and battery so how is it the worst phone you ever owned?

                      The worst phone I've ever had. Countless bugs and errors. If you are about to buy a new phone please don't buy this one. I'm doing this to guarantee my place in paradise 😂🤦

                                pl2rts, 22 Feb 2024Has it really slowed down or is that some type of paranoia ... moreIt has definitely slowed down but it is intermittent. The worst case is when I've not used it for several hours, I unlock the screen and everything is in slow motion, scrolling animations or opening apps just takes forever and you can feel the phone struggling. Once I clear the cache with the Security app everything returns to normal. This has never happened prior to HyperOS. It's not a big deal but certainly annoying enough for me to look at another brand when the time for a new phone comes.

                                    I'm just asking as my phone is new and didn't know if I should update immediately or wait for bug fixes etc, however as the phone is new I could update and do a factory reset to make sure it's all fresh and has no conflicts etc.

                                      day 1 f5 user here.. i bought the one with frosting back.. also didnt buy the pro version because i need the headphone jack. camera ? oh damn its better then my old phone (1+6T). screen ? great, coming from 60 to 120fps definitely worth it. so what games i play ? well i play PJ Sekai Jp version(the game might looks less graphic intense but it actually is pretty heavy, turn on performance mode and you will never go below 60 unless u didnt turn off battery saver restriction under setting), other games i play is PGR, it runs smoothly no problem at highest resolution, u can technically push it to highest possible graphic/resolution but expect to drop below 60fps(45-60). can check my yt channel.. Law DBlanc. i started recording because why not. Battery ? awesome.. never better.. combine with the super damn fast charging.. u basically take a rest and when u came back to your phone its already almost full
